These conditions mean bowlers are always in the game. If England can get anywhere near 300, they are in the game. You have to remember Woakes bowling record at Lords is absolutely ridiculous.

Brilliant from Cummins, absolute barrage. Jofra will have been licking his lips though. I still think you won't know a good score on this pitch until they bat, there is something in it and the overheads will play a part.
Its possible but I think there is too much in the pitch and the atmospheric conditions to allow such scoring. Unless of course a bowler breaks down again...
Have to say not giving Woakes the ball when he averages under 10 at Lords seems like utter madness from Root.
