Agreed wholeheartedly. I’ve never been to Durham’s stadium so will make plans to attend a county match. Probably when yorkshire come up

 

Problem Durham have is that the ground isn’t even in Durham city centre. Would get so many more if it was in the city centre due to transport links etc.

 

Excellent transport links to the Riverside.
You could piss to the A1 roundabout from there.
Easy to reach from Consett, Stanley, Sunderland, Newcastle, Washington.
Anywhere local really.

 

Crowds are low at Durham cos cricket just isnt quite as popular up here......and the weather.

 

That's probably because it's the most boring game in the world

 

Apart from golf & bowls.
And snooker.
