We've had a good few years...we have to take the rough with the smooth, but such a rapid fall from grace is ridiculous. I knew we were starting to look a little dodgy in the last Ashes...Australia were showing signs of life, but their recent form has been mixed. How did we make them look world beaters?
Flower gone as coach followed by cook as captain.
Cook is a great player but a poor captain. We play to negatively and Australia have shown us up. I think we got away with it in the summer because of bell but you can't always expect him to pull us out of a hole.
team selection has not been good. A lot of players need dropping and I never understood why we didn't take jos buttler over instead of bairstow. We need start building a new team with a handful of current squad.
