Finally getting to watch some of this. The Aussies are throwing their wickets away as effectively as England did. Rogers mistimed a long hop to point and Watson got caught after he smashed Tremlett's third ball straight up in the air.

The biggest surprise is that Watson wasn't LBW.

Carberry was very unlucky with his dismissal. Played back foot defensive shot, off the middle of the bat and the ball went between his legs and on to the stumps. Trott on the other hand should be axed from the line up. Been very poor for a while now.

Yea I agree. Carbs was unlucky and to be fair, hasn't done bad in this test. Trott's dismissal is absolutely pathetic.

I'm more angry with his first innings dismissal. Firstly he should have made sure there was no time for another over and to be caught down the leg side is frankly embarrassing.

England usually lose the first test and they are playing at a ground where Australia is virtually unbeaten. Once things started to turn against us, we folded. England will come out fighting in the next Test...sadly I can't see them even making a fight of it in this Test.

Well the only thing we are taking to Adelaide is a under prepared team.

Well lightning does indeed strike twice. I went to bed with England 82/2 in the first innings and we know what happened next. This time, I go to bed with England 130/4.

England can be erratic. Expect an entirely different result in the next Test. This ground was known to be a homey...we let them off the hook a bit in their first innings and once again the batsmen let us down. After we started to slide there was no one to do a Botham and pull it back. I have had to turn off Sky Sports...tolerated Boruc reruns, but cannot stomach smug Aussies.
