I don't think anyone can honestly say the UK hasn't gone backwards over the last decade or so. We can argue till the cows come home as to why, but fact remains it's becoming a really poor place to live and bring up a family ( imo ). I may be biased as I'm fortune to travel a hell of a lot with work. But the one thing I see in the UK that I don't tend to see anywhere else, in fact I see the complete opposite....is the fact that success in the UK seems to be frowned upon and actually discouraged. People see others success and don't say " well done, id like some of that and how do I get it" it seems to be "look at that ****er, how can I take that from them" or things to that effect. The welfare system here is completely broken and encourages the wrong type of behaviour from lazy people and the even mildly successful people have to prop it up. The NHS is completely ****ed from complete and utter incompetence and miss management and instead of actually fixing it, all political parties use it as a political weapon. Immigration isn't working at all and as with the NHS it's just used instead of being fixed.

More and more money is taken of workers in the UK, given to people who do nothing to earn it and into political pockets. Unfortunately though I don't think we're anywhere near the bottom yet either.

Our country has the potential to be absolutely outstanding yet again, but unfortunately I don't think there will ever be the desire from those in the political parties to make it great.

Charlie might be cancelling the Royal tour of America because of Andrew and Trump's involvement in the Epstein files.
What the **** said about the British military should be the reason he's thinking of cancelling.
This is his recent post on the topic. Which bit don't you agree with?

The except for the USA bit is bollocks for a start.

The rest can be filed under 'desperately trying to dig myself out of a hole'.

Alongside 'a staffer did it Guv'ner'.
So he's wrong even when he's praising British soldiers...okaaay.
His initial comments were not specific on British soldiers although some desperately tried to spin it that way, they were more about NATO, which he's made many comments about that were factually correct in the past.

I'm sure he sincerely means everything he posts DMD although it's hard
to know his actual opinion on anything as he contradicts himself so much

Perhaps, only not quite in the way suggested in this particular case.

His comments were disgustingly inaccurate, whether they applied directly to the British services, or any of the other allied services that stepped up.

We at least got an apology/correction or sorts, though nobody else did.

Perhaps, but it still remains that he has unequivocally praised the British military, which was the part I was referring to.
