Squad seems to be a lot weaker than last season as it stands in my 'umble. Might struggle to finish top half unless Mitchell gets his finger out

How does our squad look weaker?
GK: Pope, Dubravka, Gillespie - Added: Odys, Ruddy
RB: Trippier, Tino, Krafth
RCB: Schar, Lascelles - Added: None currently but clearly after another
LCB: Botman, Burn - Added: Kelly
LB: Hall, Targett
RCM: Longstaff, Miley
CM: Bruno, Tonali (back from suspension)
LCM: Joelinton, Willock - Lost: Anderson
RW: Miggy, Murphy
LW: Gordon, Barnes
CF: Isak, Wilson - Added: Osula (Pending but we've had a "Here We Go" from Fabrizio)
So we've added 4 players to the first team and lost one (maybe two if you include Minteh) while clearly pushing for a CB and a RW by all accounts. Tonali only manage 12 games last year also so will be "like a new signing".
I'll give you the signings so far, bar Kelly, don't really impact the starting XI or even the second XI but bar Anderson (who was probably 5th choice CM) we've lost no one of note.
Said it at the tail end of last season but this summer is about keeping the big name players and bringing in a CB and a Winger - not done yet but I'm confident come September 1st that squad will be better than last seasons.
