Actually, there might be some truth to the shirt colour.

There does appear to be a slight performance boost to teams wearing red. There have been lots of studies done over the years that show that wearing red gives you a small but statistically significant boost.

If two teams are evenly matched and one is wearing red then they are slightly more likely to win.

I think England should play in red for this reason... I don't have a link or the figures handy, but I saw a stat once that showed that the England team win more games in red than white on neutral ground.

Pirlo slams two Spurs players who went missing in final.

Former AC Milan and Juventus midfielder,
Andrea Pirlo, who played in several big games including the Champions League final for both clubs, has slammed two Tottenham Hotspur players after the loss to Liverpool last Saturday.
