Some of you are missing the entire point of this thread. It's never been about 'Pool - the clue is in the title of the thread. This thread has always been about the Mousers and their delusion. I have to take massive credit for helping the Mousers to reflect on themselves and calm things down a bit. I think I've made a lot of Mouser friends, and I am sure that they have appreciated my efforts in holding up a mirror to the worst of their (former) excesses.
It may be that, in future, my skills will be needed for United fans. I've already been putting in a lot of work on Stan, and I flatter myself that I have already made huge strides in curbing some of his delusions. There's still a long way to go, of course, but I am determined to bring him in line, as I have with so many Mousers, like Sucky and Kate. With your help, lads, we will win the day, I am sure.

We have to discard the Glory Years, Luvvy. That was a different age, when the team with the hardest thug basically bullied its way to victory. These days, skill and tactics play a far more important role, and my concern that Seville will find 'Pool wanting in both, mate.
As I say, I'll be rooting for 'Pool. I don't want to see you humiliated.

It's good to see that Benitez is going to get the Toon relegated. I called time on him during his last couple of seasons at 'Pool, and I got banned from the 'Pool board for calling it exactly as it was, and on which I proved to be completely correct.
He oversaw the beginning of the end of 'Pool as a major force in domestic football, and he's proving himself to inferior even to the likes of Big Sam.
I suspect that most Mousers are so glad they got shot when they did, because although he caused so much damage (from which 'Pool still has not recovered), it could have been so much worse.
