Your ignorance is astounding. Where to start? Gordon Brown ****ed the banking industry? Really? So an international banking crisis caused by an unregulated lending frenzy in the USA was caused by Gordon Brown was it? Do you actually know anything at all, about anything? Evidentally not, yet you have a vote. I despair.

Where did i use the word caused?

Your insults indicate your own lack of knowledge in what the British goverment could have done to eliviate some of the problem, but no they chose to wait until the whole lot imploded then hid behind the media to escape the truth.

Go on then, enlighten me. What, in your opinion, shoukd the British govt have done to 'eliviate some of the problem'? Indeed what, in your opinion, was the problem? And who were the voices calling for action 'before the whole lot imploded'?

Could it be argued that Gordon Brown paying off our war debt to America early was a stroke of genius flagrantly ignored

You've changed your tune. During indyref, you were all about national sovereignty and getting to make your own laws. Now they're not so important to you.

Nope, I said at that time I was none too fussed about an Indie Scotland being in/out of Europe. It wasn't a deal breaker for me as regards Scotland going indie (or not).

Nothing to do with an Indie Scotland's relationship with Europe.

You said at the time that you wanted Scotland out of the UK because Scotland should be able to make its own laws without interference from London.

Following that logic, surely you'd want the UK out of Europe so that it can make its own laws without interference from Brussels?

Like I said at the time ( and again just now ) in/out Europe wasn't a deal breaker for me. An indy Scotland would deal with Europe in it's own terms. As it would with any other trading nations.

Seems perfectly logical to me.

Are you deliberately missing my point because you have no answer?

I answered what you asked me.

No you didn't, you answered an entirely different question. I specifically said that I wasn't talking about Scotland's relationship with the EU, yet that is what you decided to answer.

I said that I believe the arguments for Scotland leaving the UK are analogous to the UK's arguments for leaving the EU. If you're in favour of one, you ought to be in favour of the other - unless you can point out how the 2 cases are significantly different.

Is the point not moot as Scotland would have been turfed out of Europe after a Yes vote anyway.

Or so all the numpties in Government now wanting an out vote told us.
