Nope, I said at that time I was none too fussed about an Indie Scotland being in/out of Europe. It wasn't a deal breaker for me as regards Scotland going indie (or not).
Nothing to do with an Indie Scotland's relationship with Europe. You said at the time that you wanted Scotland out of the UK because Scotland should be able to make its own laws without interference from London. Following that logic, surely you'd want the UK out of Europe so that it can make its own laws without interference from Brussels?
Like I said at the time ( and again just now ) in/out Europe wasn't a deal breaker for me. An indy Scotland would deal with Europe in it's own terms. As it would with any other trading nations. Seems perfectly logical to me.
No you didn't, you answered an entirely different question. I specifically said that I wasn't talking about Scotland's relationship with the EU, yet that is what you decided to answer. I said that I believe the arguments for Scotland leaving the UK are analogous to the UK's arguments for leaving the EU. If you're in favour of one, you ought to be in favour of the other - unless you can point out how the 2 cases are significantly different.
