The glorious South
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers starts with Kolo Toure, Lucas, Emre Can, Adam Lallana and Fabio Borini against Real Madrid, with regular starters Glen Johnson, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling and Mario Balotelli on the substitutes' bench.

Anything less than 5-0 & I would be shocked.

Real Madrid will be hoping to join Saints and Bournemouth in the 8-0 club this evening. This could get embarrassing.

Upset for Rickie. Brendan rotates the side and doesn't even include him on the bench. :(

I can't stand Rodgers. If I was a LFC fan out there, I'd be fuming.

You reckon Rickie might be feeling a bit disillusioned with life at Liverpool? I reckon he'd be up for moving back down south in January.

I posted on another thread that I'd rather he helped Bristol Rovers get back in the Football League than be treated the way he has been at Liverpool. I'm not sure how he'd fit into our system under Koeman, but how about him getting the Cherries promoted?

Put a fiver on Real Madrid with a -4 handicap and a fiver on Real to win 6-0 with Ronaldo to score any time.

All this 'he's being treated unfairly' stuff is rubbish.

I'm pretty sure when Lambert signed for Liverpool, it was clear he was going to be down the pecking order.
