Well i do currently hold the baton in Cyc's Weekend Leagues Comp at the moment... So ive got to be good at tipping...!!!
So it would appear to have most chance of being of use whilst not being used to abuse anyone if we simply have a daily tips thread where posters can put up one post per day of their particular banker selections for that day with perhaps a maximum of 3 or 4 lines of reasoning if they feel they would like to. They could also perhaps give the selection a rating out of 10 to demonstrate how strong they believe in that particular selection, and it would also be good if after it has run they edit their post with the outcome. I think it will create a daily tipping thread for selections without all the comment and banter of the daily thread which although a great part of the forum will not be to everyone's liking. How does this sound?
