Took my eldest out on his 12 pubs of Christmas crawl with his mates.

He refused my offer of the first drink.

So cracked one at home, on my own. <cry>

Potential future mother-in-law called in a tizz as potential future brother-in-law is ill and he’s meant to be picking her up to bring her to ours in the morning. We could have picked her up on the way home today but she didn’t want to “spoil our day” apparently which is definitely going to end in me driving 45 mins each way when I could be having a bacon sandwich to pick her up and the same in the evening to drop her off when I could be having a Bailey’s and third dinner.

Those sausage rolls look nice. Not sure about goose in white bread, although cutting the crusts off would hopefully mean a more tender bite, and I can overlook the fact it's still white lol....having said that I've never tried goose so I wouldn;t take much convincing, after I've been a pig and eaten all the sausage rolls.

We had Goose one year, very similar to duck but very little meat on them compared to the size of the carcass, fortunately it was one of 2 meats we served up. Did enjoy it though.

Same thought as you, regard the white bread.

Can't eat sausage rolls but they do look the biz

Real butter and the white soaks up the fat it's essential that it's white. Not often that's the case though I agree.

Been to our local Indian, which was lovely tbh.

Mrs Chief teaches the owners daughter (and also went to school with him) so we were looked after nicely, including an extra bottle of red.

Had a mixed tandoori bab and some tarka dhaal personally. Keema, steamed and saag rices for the table.

Cba to say what the rest had.

The inlaws are off to the Chapel or summat. **** that.

Happy Christmas all, speak in the morning no doubt.
