Just about deserved win, in an average competition except for some brilliant upsets earlier on, with decent teams happy to ‘protect’ leads rather than try to dominate games. Argentina didn’t learn from the Netherlands game and did the same today, sat back and allowed France back in. All the talk will be about Messi, but Villa’s Martinez won them the cup.
