Exactly. The disaster would be if our next gambled on continental player turned out to be useless and that's bound to happen with a business module such as ours. Dutch or any other league form won't always stand up in the Premier League but our strike rate has been encouraging so far!

Maybe you are right..maybe its the only way to do it. We would have to have almost all future signings to pay off tho.big dose of luck involved

MLT was a one off I'm afraid....
Not in my lifetime will we see another imo.
I'm not sure I'm cynical more realist lol, just come to the realism that players come players go,players only think of the monitory gain
Not sure many worry about winning things or playing at all tbh just as long as their very well paid.
But one thing I'll be sure of is ill still be going even if we're prem,champ,l1,or even l2.
 
what we must never forget is how our club is defined by the young players we bring through, not the ones we buy and sell on. Provided our strategy maintains this balance the club will always be one we we love and support, for the right reasons

And we shouldn't ever forget the Academy, which not only sustains our business model, but every few years provides us with a Bale/Oxo/Shaw level of player who we can introduce to the first team for a couple of years at least.

If Man U wouldn't pay anymore than the reported £22m for Pedro.....what makes them think they could get Mane any cheaper? We would want £20+ I would have thought.

I don't think he knows anything yet. It comes across him saying he got angry over it.
