It probably is a load of rubbish (how many player swap deals actually happen?). I think most of these stories come from agents.

Say Hernandez is leaving Madrid this summer and doesn't want to stay at Man Utd. Utd have been linked to Clyne so Hernandez's agent tells a journalist they'll offer us Hernandez plus cash for Clyne. A simple way of telling/reminding other clubs Hernandez is available this summer.
 
That's why I said "If true". At least it comes from a decent source unlike hereisthecity or some other newsnow random.
 
Hell yeah I'd take it, I'm just saying I don't think there's any truth in it.

The Express reporting that Pelle would have to take a 360K pay cut (admittedly before tax) to go to Lazio because of their rigid pay policy. Doubt Pelle is considering leaving Southampton after only his first season in the PL which earned him an international call up....and for a pay cut. The only reason is if he is desperate to get back to Italy and he seems happy enough....though he has remarked that he has to go to London for nightlife. A rumour with no legs.

As much as anything, I don't think Graziano would consider leaving Koeman like that.

More rumours out than in at the moment. It's going to be another high turnover summer

For me Morgan, Clyne & Toby are the difference between where we are now in the league and being back amongst the pack. Hopefully we can find good replacements and players like Mane & Tadic can deliver more consistent second seasons

In fairness to Clyne it probably is the right move for him should it happen. He would get paid more, be at a bigger club, champions league football, competing for trophies and still be in the starting 11. Wouldnt blame him for leaving. That deal would be good for all parties involved, if only it was true.
 
I thought you could only take a goalkeeper as an emergency signing....we have goalkeepers, so no one will swallow that. If our keepers aren't good enough, that is our fault. We are not fighting for the title and we are not fighting relegation, so can't see us even trying to bend the rules. And SKD doesn't deserve that smack in the face. I want to get in the Europa for what it means to our progress, but it may be a poisoned chalice, so we have nothing to lose this season.
