I would have wanted more previously. But he has continued to show very little. It will be good for us to get some players off the books.

Gardos is good enough for 4th choice!? He has looked generally fairly solid from what I've seen.

I don't think he is. When he plays he makes a lot of mistakes. Unless he steps up I would be tempted to sell.

Oh yeah, just seen that S.Davis is on it. I'd keep him aswell. He's had a poor few months and doesn't score enough (at all) but is still a good player for us. An area that we can improve but good to have in the squad.

I'd be happy to keep him for another season at least.

I think it depends. If we really want to step up to the next level we need better back up players.

Davis, Gardos are ok back up players but you need better if you want to play in Europa etc.

Ramirez and Osvaldo have to be top priority. Frees up a lot of wages.

Agree with that list. Many won't with Steven Davis though.

Don't rate Gardos much, but he hasn't had a good run in the team.

McCathy is as good as Gardos from what I have seen of the U21s
I must admit I have been impressed with a good number of the youngsters

Loose change for them and no doubt RG will earn a lot less than Peter Cech

Steve Davis deserves a little more patience. He signed a new 4 year deal (?) in the summer and he has been a good player for us. He is in a bit of a rut at the moment, but it is only a few months back, we were bemoaning his absence from the team and saying we miss his link up play. Fickle, fickle fans. I am all for bringing in an upgrade, but no need to discard him. He can and will do a good job for us again.

Fickle or people have different opinions then you? Davis is a trier, he works hard and usually breaks down the opposition.
He is not what we need in his position tho, we need a player that can shoot. The problem for Davis is we have loads of defencive minded players so he may miss out.

    Wanyama
    Reed
    Gape
    Clasie(or whoever replaces Morgan)

    Then you will have:
    Vilhena
    Prowse
    And probably one more.

Thst doesn't leave much space for him.

With us being linked heavily with both Austin and Ings, how do we think either will fit in with our existing group of forwards...Pelle, JRod, Mane, Long and Gallagher (+ Seagar tearing it up for the U21's)?

Fickle because a huge number were saying how much we missed him earlier in the season. Maybe not you, but lots have. Nothing to do with differing opinion Beefy. I agree he may miss out, but that is still a very good, experienced back up to have should it be needed.

I don't see him in the defensive role anyway. He is better at the point of a three.

Jayrod to threaten Pelle for the central role. Long will need to step up a feel to make Ron play him more. There must be a reason why Long hasn't started more games. Remember we are talking about a potential front three or even four if you add the point of the midfield triangle. You named only 5 + Seager for 3/4 roles. We can easily accommodate another striker/wide player.
