There's probably not much difference in terms of how much money we can offer or general appeal of the club between us and Swansea, but we do offer european football, and for a dutchman it's got to be more tempting to work under Koeman, then under Monk. Who is a good manager, but still making a name for himself.

As speculation of Van Dijk currently being between us and Swansea, I'd say we're often compared but we are a clear cut above; similar, but better in all departments really.

I'd agree about the two clubs; not much in it. If he likes good singing, I think they'd edge it there with that beautiful Welsh choir sound.

I agree which is why I was sensitive about him preferring Swansea to us. Can accept someone going to a top 4-6 club, but Swansea are close to us and choosing them would reaffirm that. I just think we have that little bit more potential and 'star quality'...and I am not prejudiced at all.
