What exactly did he say? Sometimes he likes to say things along the lines of nothing is certain when the paperwork isn't 100% complete, even if eveyone had agreed the deal in principle.

Did you see Eddie literally push Miggy forwards to the front to give the fans a big farewell wave and then give him a hug afterwards?

I get that, but when a players in a plane or he's saying goodbye he can probably just answer.
 
There’s a conflict internally I feel about the way Howe manages and how modern football is. Trips, Almiron and Wilson are so worthless to us right now, but valuable to growing the club if they can be sold. Howe I think wants to keep their personalities around.

We've had a few players going until something stops it last minute..is it coincidence or something else?
 
The other thing about almiron staying around is we may have a deal for a replacement lined up. Waiting for that to be sorted to ensure we’re not a player down.

Something that seems to have gone completely unnoticed is that the PL seems fine with allowing City to buy players whilst under investigation for financial irregularities.

Yet here we are having done **** all wrong, with £250bn in the bank, and we can’t upgrade Almiron.

It just makes NO ****ING SENSE!! How is not more said about this ****?

Agree.

Although there is no way the Saudis will just accept it all when it is so blatant what us going on. I expect PIF are ruffling feathers behind the scenes, or are at least figuring out a grand plan so that when they do go for it, there can be no resistance.

This. That wouldn’t happen in any other scenario other than him leaving.
 
Almiron going means we have literally one right winger. And whilst he’s in the form of his life, surely we have something lined up somewhere?

Innocent until proven guilty my friend. A transfer embargo may be a punishment in the event they are found to have acted inappropriately, but until that judgement is in, they can act as normal.
