£10m for Miggy would be a very decent deal.

He's been great for the club and one of those whose attitude and workrate really helped to lift us to new levels after the takeover.

But we have already moved on in terms of quality - and sadly his legs are showing signs of going from his personal peak level. So if we can get that kind of money for him right now, then it simply has to be done.

I'd certainly wish him all the best. A fan favourite even if just for that permanent smile like he's won the lottery.

Agree, but I'd also add......FINALLY!

Mitchell must have the easiest job in the world. He’s basically done nothing since he joined lol.
Or, he's got the hardest job in the world, trying to shift out players on big wages for decent money that no-one really wants. I'd like to think he's been working hard with Nixon on identifying young talent to bring in for peanuts and sell for millions in a couple of years.

Certainly sounds like that's been his main priority. Hopefully we'll see the rewards in a year or two, but meanwhile I'm not expecting too much in the way of big signings who will walk straight into the first team.

I guess the plan is to use willock and Joelinton if we lose Murphy to an injury.

Injuries could be the thing that kills our charge. Otherwise it'll keep going on an on.

Think the versatility we have across from front 6 should see us through this season. As you say Gordon, Murphy, Willock and Joelinton can play out wide (which also opens up a clearer route for Miley in CM...). Osula, Gordon, Isak all cover the striker, Miley, Longstaff, Willock backing up Joelinton, Tonali and Bruno covers the CM position.

I didn't even realise how good he was until I started watching him this season.

Ben Jacobs just been saying on a podcast that toon are only team to have thrown a concrete offer down for Mbuemo but likely to be a summer transfer.
Yeah, that sort of thing. Could you imagine the goal threat from a front three of Gordon, Isak and Mbeumo. And the work rate on both wings. Insanity levels.
