Pope loses the ball that's the point... It's not just about saves ! The games evolved! Pope has been poor at making saves anyway since his injury.

Everything is built from the back and any nervousness or hesitation in the backline impacts the side massively. Then when you add the keeper losing possession it presents more opportunities for the opposition.

I'm not saying Dubs is the long term answer, but Pope is completely inadequate when it comes to playing the modern game and dubs hasn't had the benefit of the current outfield players being in front of him until now.

Craig Hope has pretty much ruled out any significant incomings this month and pointed at the summer for them. Makes sense to me, but I can guarantee there's a wave of tantrums come February.

The most important thing is the 3 to 5 years ahead not the next 3 or 4 months so it makes complete sense to wait rather than just signing second or even 3rd choice. Unfortunately many just cannot get their heads around that.

if the right players available at the right price in January they'll sign them otherwise they won't! they'll wait 16 weeks for the right one.

What makes sense is that we're on an upward trajectory. This means that if we can contribute in such form then we add a lot of commercial value, competition value thus leading to more progress on the pitch
 
Offloading a couple of the fringe players would be a good start. Boost the transfer kitty and cut the wage bill. Even if we don't make any significant signings in January.

It doesn't matter what they think.... let them do what they like with their arms... they don't have the information to judge anyway.

I have confidence in the owners and people running the Club.....
