Fair play to Wrexham. They have gone from non league to second in League One in no time and they could well be promoted this season. With a Manager and some players that were deemed not good enough. Parkinson is doing a great job.

Their decision makers have been wise enough to understand that the only way you get promotions is by throwing decent money at it, as well as keeping your best players.
Both lessons lost on the clowns running us.
At least we have clarity! Imagine if we had scraped a draw or even a win... then the talk would be all about games in hand / closing the gap on sixth place etc.
And at least we have a multi-owner model, of which some are high net worth AND hands off. We've had two hands on rich foreign owners over last ten years and the strategy / execution has been sub-optimal.
The vision of a breakeven Championship club with far greater media and commercial revenues is still intact. But the football side simply isn't delivering despite a top six budget.
One can read around social media and message boards and everyone gets it. But what's the move? Let's take a step back, digest the situation, and see where our club goes next.

I’m not jumping the gun (much) but imagine if we get Wrexham in the Play Offs.
Look at all the links between the two clubs, legends who have played for both teams (in one person’s case, at the same time) including Phil Parkinson, Elliott Lee, Eoghan O’Connell ….and the Global Moderator.
I reckon we’d easily take 4,000 up to Wrexham. I would say we’d wreck the place, but you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference.

I read an article on deprived towns in the UK and it was in the top 10.

With the table as it is now, and Wrexham wilting like Seriously Red on a hot day in his Crombie, our upcoming game at the Racecourse Ground looks like the decider for 2nd place.

Looking at the league table tonight, Wrexham are up to 2nd and we are 5 points behind them in 4th.
