Speak for yourself, Id probably give up my season ticket if we played like them.

I find a 60 yard pinpoint ball behind the defence much more exciting than the tippy tappy crap but my view has probably been tainted by the most boring team Ive ever seen in Swansea who dont even attempt to cross the halfway line.

Spain were as good last night as they were bad in the semis. They'd have battered France if they'd played like that but didn't.

Yes. And if Flyer's team was playing this way he'd think they were really boring too <doh>

Having to read this tosh every day is making me ill. This guy seriously puts the "Func" in Dysfunctional.

And yet we STILL managed more goals than you throughout the season. Kind of puts your argument to bed doesn't it.

But at least we admit we had a pretty crap season having been stuffed by the previous owners. It'll be different next season. Btw has Sinclair gone yet?

Do you spend your life scrolling through random threads looking for references to Swansea? Genuinely bemused as to why you should have ever looked at this thread! Or is there a word search facility on this site that I haven't found yet?
    Anyway, good luck, Wandering Jack......

fantastic football by the world champions. any of the home nations and the R.O.I are light years behind Germany and Italy let alone Spain who are way out in front...boring????not on your life was it boring, It was skill to the highest degree and 4 goals was not boring in any final. well done to Italy for getting to the final in the first place but they were only going to be there to make the numbers up, they were never going to win it against the world champs.....England were also there to make the numbers up and reached the best they could ever achieve, Spain would have scored double figures if they were to play England in the final.....and probably treble against my team wales.....superb display of total football....

Rubbish. If England were playing that way you'd be bursting through your pants.

I can see right through the likes of you and Flyer.

Of course it's a lot better than the way we played, and I'd take any win, but I stand by my point. It's one thing Spain doing it, but when it gets copied, you get teams like Boring Boring Swansea Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Fair enough Northy. I can kinda see where you're coming from. They passed backwards a lot but I remember some games they looked brilliant, esp at home to the Arsenal and City. Remember Ollie's style? Now THAT was boring. Hoof and press, hoof and press, hoof and press. I know which style I'd prefer.

Fact is, every style looks sh*t sometimes and good at other times. How many times were we almost bored to tears last Season?

I was never bored Swords, as there was always the threat of some self inflicted disaster just around the corner. I'd be delighted with a few boring 1-0 wins next season, and less than 5 sendings off in total.

Nahh mainly just read yours and the Norwich board apart from my own. Norwich because im interested to see who they are signing compared to us. Yours because I like to see how large a human head can grow before it finally explodes.
As for Sinclair, I'm hoping someone takes him. Massively overrated and could make us a very nice 6-10m.
