....... for one of the best derby matches I've attended in 50 years, for bringing the whole ground together for the Everton match, for trying to end the decades of the 'lunatics running the asylum', for all the hours you put in doing what you thought was best etc etc etc.

Also thanks to the press, media and MOTD duffers for your constant hounding and ill judged comments.

Thanks to the MON brigade for attacking PDC simply because he was their hero's replacement.

Thanks to the Durham Miners, Milliband and the others who attacked the club's football manager for non-football reasons.

I wonder if the next man's political beliefs will be scrutinised in the same way.

And a big fat thank you to the ****ing media for turning one of the most respected clubs in the country into the subject of hate and ridicule all to fill your pages and agenda. If one asked me a question outside the ground on a match day I'd spit in his face and claim sexual rights over his mother. ****ing pricks.

Calling them out is fine if it's warranted, doing it in public isn't the right thing to do mate, doesn't matter what your proffession is or who your manager is, if you get a bollocking in public it's ****e, if the gaffer takes you to one side and has a quiet word then you automatically have more respect and are more likely to take notice. If it'[s done in public your reaction is to kick back.

Don't get me wrong mate, i think he was right to call them all unfit cos they so obviously were, that was down to MON and Bruce though and PDC tried to and succeded in changing that. But when results don't go your way sometimes you have to be man enough to hold your hands up and take it on the chin. PDC just berated his players and that's wrong mate. Do it behind closed doors if you have to but not on national TV.

Not argueing about putting the players in their place, i'm right behind him on that one mate, it's the manner in which he did it. It was obvious form that end of MON's riegn that player power existed and it had to change, i'm all for that, i want to see committed players on the pitch not a lazy ****ing Larsson trotting back when he loses the ball like he used to under MON. I think he'd have been given time if it wasn't for the financial risk involved with relegation. It's sad but it's more apparent than ever that owners are more interested in the revenue than the success of their teams in this country.

Di Matteo isn't the answer in my opinion, he didn't win the Champions League for Chelsea, Didier Drogba won the Champions League for Chelsea and he struggles at this level tactically. If you're insistent on an up and coming Italian manager who has passion then if I was Short I'd be going all out for Gianfranco Zola. If you want ambition and still want to carry on with the change in direction, I'd go after Ole Solskjaer and if you want a safe option who will make you a solid team and a guy who'd be up for the scrap then I'd go for Rene Meulensteen (Who Moyes was stupid to get rid of).

Tactically he's a spot on, world class coach. He doesn't miss a thing, makes sure the team works as a unit, you can see we miss him at United already. Not a glamorous appointment if you went for him by any means but I think that's the last thing you guys need, it's heads down work hard time. I don't think bookies will know much, the same bunch of losers get linked to every team whenever a manager gets sacked.
