Benoit Assou-Ekotto has been released from his contract with Tottenham. He is now a free agent.

Sign him back up Harry - all is forgiven!

So basically West Ham used us to get Zareta fit so they can have him back and they offer Jarvis as a replacement, does he need fitness training as well? They saw us coming.....

Really, you actually think the Hammers looked at Adel and our numerous players hamstring issues and thought "we'll have some of that".

interview with HR on SSn and he didn't look too happy. The windows been a total balls by the sounds of it - everyone trying but bottom line is nobody really wants to come to us because they think we're poo.

The players are going to have to find something extra extra special to stay up. Not confident.

Just now
@davidmcintyre76: As I understand it Zarate cannot return to WHU in same window, so Jarvis cannot join QPR as they can't have two from the same club on loan.

ssn must know the rules on this surely!!! there's an article about Jarvis to QPR on their website.

BBC Sport's Ben Smith: "I am told West Ham are still working on a deal to sign Emmanuel Adebayor. QPR are interested and remain so but the player has indicated that he is willing to join West Ham. Now down to whether Spurs chairman Daniel Levy allows him to."

How do you know that for sure? Guessing or inside info? The former probably.<confused>

Bottom line is...................no ****er wants to come to a club that is so obviously being taken down by old dino chops!!

Night all.

So we can't have Jarvis because we were too eager to sign an unfit Zarate as soon as the transfer window opened?

Is QPR run like Fawlty Towers? It's too funny to be accidental surely?

And on SSN now

QPR CAN'T SIGN JARVIS

Despite QPR's attempts to sign Matt Jarvis from West Ham on loan and send Mauro Zarate back to Upton Park, Premier League rules state a team cannot sign two loan players from the same team in one season. Deal off.

oh total guesswork mate but my assumption is that if we can't get anybody in at all it's probably, at least partly, because we're not a very attractive proposition.

I mean not even a youngster or two from the championship????

What happened to that winger from Wolves that seemed likely to happen??

Just logged in from US on the phone so irritating to track back. Have we signed/loaned anyone or moved anyone out?
Not too bothered if not

Joey Barton - putting in a sparkling performance on BBC Radio Five Live - bossing it, like he does on the pitch.
