Cant believe there are people that would not take warnock. He would save us and with a sniff of ambition from the owners would have us as contenders in 2+ yrs.

Never done oxford away...so every cloud.
I think one problem with Neil Warnock is I cant imagine he would sign a long term contract with the Allams at the helm. It would just be an attempt at a short 8 or 9 game short term fix. It would be a loss of face for them having said all that stuff about a project and a 'way of playing' (what is it?) with GM, as I think we can be fairly sure Neil Warnock would just play in whatever way he wanted to try and get results.
I think they'll hang on and still hope GM can conjure a win or two from somewhere. Hard to see it at the moment.

Does Neil Warnock really needs Hull City this late in his career? A lot would depend on his hunger for another challenge of course but thinking about it what you suggest seems plausible. Stranger things happen of course but despite the obvious Blunt connection and his mouth if anyone can do another Houdini act on this lot it’s him.

I always think, like the Bullard constantly in weir bar rumour. In today’s age the first thing people do is get their phones out and take a picture. I never saw a pic of Bullard and why didn’t anyone take a picture of what’s alleged to have happened on Friday

So you don’t believe Bullard was constantly out on the piss?

I’m not sure where in my post I said that, tigers1970 as you’ve liked it, you can answer it aswell

On balance of multiple sources saying the same thing you have to wonder whether lack of discipline is a factor off the pitch now as well as on it.

Hull have not won for 2 years in the league now without Bowen in the team.

To blame the manager is atrocious and snide behaviour after the money that has been siphoned out the club and out the team over 5 years. Many on here should be ashamed of themselves. Selective blindness to the entire background of the perpetual degradation of the playing squad for the last half decade. The fact that Hull are still not in the relegation zone is testament to how well the manager did getting the best out of his performing players when they were still at the club. Shame some of the appalling fans on here can't see that.

That’s a meaningless stat, as Bowen played in every game bar one.

We all know that the Allams are to blame for the current ****show, but McCann is still responsible for his own actions and he just seems completely out of his depth.

I think most acknowledge circumstances have played their part, but it's becoming increasingly clear that if gutless performances continue and nothing changes quickly we'll be playing with an even lower budget with poorer players in league 1 next season.

No-one thinks its all mccanns fault but it's reasonable to question the lack of fight, organisation and quality on show since Xmas. You can at least try to set up to make us difficult to play through, instead of continuing with an open, so-called 'high press' style that means our penalty box becomes a shooting gallery until teams put us out of sight and let us have the ball a bit.

It's ridiculous to suggest it's snide to question a manager whos team has just dropped 31 points from a possible 33 and not looked close to competing.

Most people will accept a squad and a managers limitations as long as they see some heart. This side hasn't shown any for months now.

If you take out every penny from your business and sell everything of value, then employ one of the cheapest available salesman to sell faulty stock and then the company goes bankrupt, is it the salesman's fault?

The rot has set in well beyond the manager. If everything if value is sold off, the ambition of the club is stunted, then the remaining players can't raise their game. It's basic sports psychology.

The manager still has a squad of professionals who are currently playing like amateurs. If he was getting the most from what he has most games then we wouldn't be in free-fall.

The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same things and expecting different results.

There have been plenty of managers here who have changed things to suit the circumstances,

His lack of flexibility is alarming.

Using your stats, I haven't checked, it's an 11 game bad run (?). Hardly unsurprising considering recent history. Before that, the manager performed well. Do you demand the sacking for a quarter season performance after what has happened to the club?

The two best performing players continued to perform despite the inadequacies of their teammates and the tactical/motivating skills of the manager.
They (the 2 consistent performers) were after a move away from the obviously declining club stability & prospects. He brought in a number of his "own" previous players. He's not getting them to gell or understand, which suggests non-belief in the manager's approach/ideas.

Makes one wonder what demands he put to the owners during his recruitment interviews ?

Considering he was sacked by peterboro for a 7 game winless run earlier in his career then I'd say 11 games was serious cause for concern. We're in by far the worst form in the division for a sustained period.

I rarely call for a managers head have defended mccann if you read previous posts, but it's getting to the point where something needs to change, and if he won't change it then it's likely he'll get changed himself.

If you think 2 points in 11 games ( which generously equates to 9 points in a 46 game season if you want to play that game) isn't form that's going to put any manager under pressure they you're deluded. We're not the worst squad the championship has ever seen even without jarrod and kamil, but that form must be getting close to the worst the championship has ever seen.

It's not all grants fault but he's far from blameless.

yes!!!.... its 2 points from 33..... that makes it clear how bad the 11 game run is... and if it wasn't for a 6th. minute injury time equaliser it would have been 1 in 33... and more, its. not the run per se, though that is sackable in itself, but the manner of it.

There has been no direction/ambition since May 2016.

Amazed it has taken this long for the wheels to come off.

(Going back a years further, it was August 2013 when Allam senior first had his ****-brained scheme to 'rebrand' the club and the divisive madness started.)

Using his stats? You've not checked? You're either playing Devil's advocate or straight out taking the piss.
