Terry Connor given the role until the end of the season. Not sure whether this appointment will provoke a backlash or not given the farce over the past couple of weeks but he has been there a long time. Question is, has he got the know how to pull clear from trouble?

Relegation is nailed on. If TC was not part of the problem what was his job? Desperately trying to think of something positive about all of this. At least we won't have to endure survival Sunday again, I suppose; I'm guessing we'll be down by early April.
Although not my club I agree with Neilynotquite. I can never understand when a manger is sacked that part of the managerial set up that was responsible for the failings is then given the job, I just cannot work out the logic at all. Are the players going to respect the decision, not sure.

A bit surprised since Jez always seems to have something up his sleeve, so unless he knows something we don't then TC seems a strange appointment.
TC has always seemed quiet and not the sort of person who likes the limelight so will be interesting to see what if anything changes.
The only plus point i can see at the moment is he has this moment to add something big to his CV and if he can do it, it could either get him the job full time or get him a manager job elsewhere.

Well the thing i noticed against you was that we seemed to close down lot quicker than normal and tried playing/passing a lot more than we had been under Mick.
Even Henry didn't look overly dirty which must be a good sign. Hopefully these were things TC did and if so that could give us the boost we need to grab some more points.
Too early to say for sure but hopefully I am not dreaming too much in thinking that not appointing a well known/experienced man will not send us down.
