Off Topic Terrorists attacks in Brussels

I wouldn't go down that route finglas. Where did the 21/7 London bombers come from? Or for that matter the two doctors involved in the London and Glasgow airport bombings in 2007.

My point is 999's, some people were quick enough to jump on this thread to try to justify their Brexit beliefs and point a finger at the EU. This atrocity has nothing to do with the EU. It would appear (or least the Belgian authorities are speculating) that the lads responsible for this attack were home grown naturalised Belgians just as the 7/7 terrorists were naturalised British born citizens. To think that only 5 hours ago a few dozen people lost their lives and scores more were injured and scarred for life and some people think it is ample opportunity to justify their own beliefs on Brexit.

Agree Facto. Skynews turn these atrocities into Xfactor TV. They always drag Kay out for these terrorist attacks and will bring in the usual ex-terrorism people telling us it could be us next.

No he can't,but Sky can help who they put outside Downing St ! Can't see how Peter Wire would offend anyone,these attacks weren't carried out by Wireist terrorists,but by Islamic ones!

They are thugs, murderers and scum. And they deserve everything they get when tracked down. Don't let that make you hate proper Muslims though, because if you do, then you're playing straight into their hands.

Your initial post that there is no point getting into this again is right. And so is Stroller. It makes no difference what a 'true Muslim' is, the perpetrators of these attacks regard themselves as following the purest form of Islam that there is, to the extent that they will blow themselves up in the process. The decent Muslims are no more 'proper' than these nutters, they just interpret the same texts in different ways, that are more acceptable to you. It's obviously a problem generated by Islam, in addition to poverty and ignorance.

The explosion at the airport looks huge. I fly in and out of there at least once a month. Horrible. We really need to help the Belgian security services and police to sort themselves out.

Didn't a similar thing happen in London a few years ago. I'm not sure our security services are any better than those in Belgium!

It's just different interpretations of the same texts. I'm sure these people think that peaceful Muslims living in the West are not 'proper Muslims' and probably don't care that they will be killing some of them along with the Kaffirs.

Would you consider the Saudi regime 'proper Muslims', Chaz? There's a PBS documentary due to air in this country next week, which will show some of the horrors that take place in a 'legitimate' lslamic state - one of our bigger trading partners.

These debates will always get tempers flowing. People say things they don't always mean or get frustrated with what others say.
Everyone will have their own opinions on this issue and although i disagreed with Hammersmith on what he said i can also understand his point of view.
At the end of the day this is about a bunch of twisted freaks who follow some corrupt outdated belief. They do this stuff because they cannot live in a normal civilised society and because the majority of us won't buy into their rubbish.
