Why don't we turn every thread into a discussion on Brexit Goldy?

I find it stomach churning that you have turned this thread into a discussion to suit your Brexit beliefs, considering the fact that there is a separate thread to discuss the issue that is so close to your heart. Personally, I am more concerned with the victims and their families.

Sorry, Finglas, but what a ridiculous reply. Are you suggesting that I'm not concerned about these deaths? Once again, you attempt to take the moral high ground.

And you don't address the issue of Schengen which is highly material to terrorism in Europe

Go discuss it on the right thread Goldy. Britain and Ireland are two islands and neither are Schengen countries so I don't give a rats about it.

I do give a rats. If guns and bomb-making equipment are moving freely up to the Continental ports on the English Channel, London will be at risk

Get real. London is already a huge risk. Remember who started all this by invading Iraq?

Right, so we should take no steps to reduce that risk, and instead, take our medicine because we asked for it, eh, Finglas?
No. Not at all. That's not what I am suggesting. Maybe you could enlighten us as to why a Brexit will improve your security there. The last time I entered the UK I was met with a big wall of immigration officers and the words UK border. Maybe if you exit, those controls will be replaced by something like the Berlin Wall? Please enlighten us all.

For one thing, those suspected by the UK of being Islamic terrorists in the EU won't have an enforceable right to come into the UK to visit still less to live here and form cells. Our government will determine who is legally allowed in

I am certain that everybody on this thread understands loss and how dreadful it is. It isn't just loss we should be worried about IMO plenty of people I guess injured who's lives will never be the same.
Some token words on a football forum not going to change that
In the end IMO the European public will have to understand to stop these attacks then someone is going to have to listen to the evil bastards who are doing this and ask why?
I am certain that no one is safe until dialogue is done. It will just be life inbetween these dreadful acts of war

If we are at war then ffs the people in power do something

So, at the moment suspected terrorists just walk straight in? Every country has the right to stop and question anybody they suspect of terrorism. I have been stopped and questioned myself on arrival or departure at UK ports. Leaving the EU will not improve your ability to control terrorists one bit.

How right you are, I saw a documentary on the 7/7 London bombings 10 years on, listening to some of the harrowing experiences told by the survivors they were emotionally scarred for life.

...and then there are the high levels of North African immigrants that some EU countries have taken in and will grant citizenship to in due course giving them the right to come to the UK as pretty much an unknown quantity. And then there are 75 million Turks, most Muslim and many pro ISIS, that will get visa free travel in Schengen soon, and eventual EU membership...
