Harry Maguire and Rachid Ghezzal could return while Jamie Vardy and Jonny Evans are a doubt. Daniel Amartey is out. So here is what i would go with

    Schmeichel

    Ricardo
    Morgan
    Maguire
    Chilwell

    Albrighton
    Ndidi
    Mendy
    Gray

    Maddison

    Iheanacho

Subs- Ward, Soyuncu, Fuchs, Iborra, Silva, Ghezzal, Okazaki

Puel has confirmed both Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans are fit but Jamie Vardy isnt

Good news is Vardy doesnt need surgery though

.....and the bad news is that we only have Iheanacho as a main striker, unless we sacrifice Gray and shove him up front (which I hope doesn't happen). The Spurs defenders could be in for an easy day.

With Maddison behind I’d be happier with Okasaki up top I think

Put it this way. We are only going to score from Maddison or a set peice tomorrow. Unless Wilf can hit a defender backside again

Ed, I think your dream team would consist of Schmeichel, Matty James plus 8 clones with Okazaki up front. Right?

As long as Matty James is in there to sure up the midfield all should be fine

Evans, Maguire and Ghezzal are back but Mendy is out - haven't heard of any injury for him? Interesting that Simpson, Soyuncu and Diabate have gone from our starting lineup to out of the squad entirely.

Mendy is in according to your line up. It is Albrighton that is out. Can't understand putting in a plodder like Iborra instead of a worker like Albrighton. I hope Puel has got it right.

Whoops - expected to see him next to Ndidi.

I think Iborra is playing as #10 - hopefully will make it home soon to watch the match.

We could still be playing and wouldn't score. Cant believe how far backwards Iheanacho has gone. Zero goal threat.

I'm not sure Iheanacho is a main striker. Absolutely no movement toward the ball and to get across Vertonghen for that ball that came from Chilwell.

And woeful defending for the second goal. Evans saw the danger from Ali and saw that Chilwell was out of position (and who should have bust a gut to get back, not jogged) yet he allowed Ndidi to mark no one and let himself get dragged into the centre,.leaving Ali free. Sunday league defending and no communication.

Subs yet again made no ****ing sense

Mendy on a booking and Iborra is a goal threat. Take Iborra off

Takes the only striker off to put a winger up front in Gray who looked the most likely to do something

And then we was crying out for Maguire to come on to play up front to give us a chance. Brings Shinji on

He took Mendy off and had a winger players alongside Ndidi. Puel just doesnt have a clue

We are boring, safe, lacklustre and shambolic going forward without Vardy

    Puel needs to go

Subs all made sense to me:

We were in a 4-5-1 formation with Iborra as DM and he did alright for first 45 min but he was pointless when we were chasing the game so subbing him off for an attacker in Albrighton made sense. Thought we could try him as a #10 but having two immobile lumps in him and Iheanacho would have been pointless.

Iheanacho was terrible up front by himself so changing up and putting someone with some speed up front makes some sense to me - I agree that don't have any alternative to Vardy but we know it definately isn't Iheanacho.

Crying out for Maguire up front? Not sure why you would want to play a CB who has just come back from injury up front over and an actual striker in Shinji after your previous point? Also what was wrong with taking off Mendy for him who was on a yellow card? Last thing we need was this crappy ref to send him off.

I'm sure that you will call me a Puel apologist or whatever but if you wrote this about the Fulham game I would have agreed wholeheartedly as that team was rather nonsensical but I don't have any real complaints about this one.

We were outplayed by a better team and we really showed where we need improving.

    Are you Puel’s agent?

Your the only person who sees no wrong in him

I actually met my girlfriends parents for the first time last night who are all massive Derby fans... was interesting to hear from someone relatively impartial that they thought Puel was doing an outstanding job and that we were overachieving

You should choose your girlfriends more carefully, Ed. Have you checked if insanity runs in the family? :emoticon-0100-smile
