So, do you lads think you can pull this one back?

You've got the home advantage.

Yup - which is why we prioritise the league and are good enough to be 13 points ahead of you.
league don't finish in january though does it? and last time i remember we beat you guys.

you don't have to play twice every week and you're lucky you don't suffer 13 injuries at 1 time all to first team players

You are bang on meal in a bin. The mighty Pool are a much bigger club than us and will easily pull back the points difference between us. But hey - we are staying up, say we are staying up.

Don't play the injury card, shows that we get things right behind the scenes and don't sign crocks. You can't legislate for a leg break mid match but muscle pulls is training can be

How big is your first team?

you do realise first team players means players that have all played in the first team right?

every team has at least 18-20 first team players, even if 5-6 only ever play 10-15mins a match
Nope. So every player that played for Liverpool tonight, is now regarded as a first team player? That's just stupid.

First team players, are your eleven strongest players, if all available for selection.

The rest of the players are regarded as squad players <ok>

You should have no excuse for your league position if you have a lot of first team players as then you should be able to compete on all fronts.

We openly say we don't so we have to prioritise and we have chosen the league and are out of the cups.

That you have a lot of injuries is not all down to bad luck but due to bad management, training and medical.

..pretty abject performance tonight .. hopefully Claudio will have a few quite words .. Inler and Dyer were woeful .. thought Benny and Andy King were our best until Okazaki was introduced (liking him more and more) ..good experience for Chilwell and Gray and they will come on for it ..but both have a lot to learn ..

Need a reaction to that because it was pretty disappointing ...

i don't really have any excuses for our league position, it's way below standards but this wasn't even my initial arguement.... my initial arguement was that ranieri picked a weak side not capable of going through the next round tonight which i found disappointing cuz i was hoping you'd beat that lot

Dyer was dire - can see why Swansea let him go now - as was Inler.

Agree with you on Okazaki, King, Chllwell and Gray.

Benny unfortunately can't break past Huth and Morgan - when Huth was suspended it was notable that Wasyl was picked instead - so can see him leaving if Amertey gets his work permit.

Fair enough - but as I stated we don't have a squad of first teamers so chose to prioritise the league.

A cup run would be nice but Champions League would be phenomenal and realistically we might never have this chance again if the likes of Vardy and Mahrez leave in the summer as expected.

If we were in the Champions League, we might be able to keep them or get comparable or better replacements.

Hard luck tonight people. Your pitch looks like you grow potatoes on it let alone have Spuds running all over it.

Good luck in your quest for a European spot.
