Well Ranieri has taken him off penalties, so its obviously a concern.

If he'd scored both of them, we may have gone onto secure 4 extra points, but its hard to criticize a player who has been absolutely phenomenal and has already contributed so much this season.

6 since Boxing Day. Up until then you won 5 out of 6 but since you've won 1 out of 6 and I feel that that is a slight dip in form. But anyway, good luck for the rest of the season and yes, it is a concern that Mahrez missed two penalties.

This is pretty much the same team we put out in the first leg, which we should have won...

if you scrutinise the penalty you'll see he was looking at the ball when he tapped it away. I've seen it before, a team gets a lifeline late on and goes on for a long cup run or even wins it. It's happened to Chelsea a lot.

Arsenal and City have to be concerns considering our recent record against them. Man U beat us by an own goal which set the theme for their season so I think we'll beat them at home. The 4-1 v City flattered us as two goals were offside I think so yes, although we have the winning momentum against them I'm reading nothing into that. West Ham? Too unpredictable to call as are Everton. Stoke? Doing well and very tough to beat at home. Liverpool? Who knows?

Well that was painful. Ulloa us so out of form it hurts. Vardy and Okazaki on Saturday and go out in the meantime to get a quality centre forward because God knows we need one.

Agreed. It does show our lack of quality in depth.

Great performances from Gray and Chilwell especially who had the confidence to start going past opponents. But Inler still doesn't do it for me. Someone of his international stature should be producing more.

As I put on the transfer thread, I would love to see Shane Long here. I think he really suits our style of play and is a decent finisher.

**** the cup. We' ll not pick up too many pts in Feb imo, so go all out v Stoke & make sure we pick up form again March, April & May. Our goal has been reached this season so any thing else will be a bonus.

Inler was arguably the worst player on the park on that performance .. actually thought Benny played quite well ...

    Inler is frustrating.

You can see his quality but he just doesn't impact the games like he should.

Thought he should have been hooked for Okazaki, Drinkwater was having a reasonable game but I suppose the league is more important.

They played a very strong team but it's aggravating that we shouldn't have had to play last night. Even more so now that we lost.

So, you take 4 points from us and we knock you out of the FA Cup, sounds a reasonable return for two teams in the top 4.

Spending twice as much money on wages doesn't sound like a very good return for a team earning one point out of a possible 6 while looking up the table at a team spending half as much earning 4 points points out of a possible 6.

Good point, but Leicester only just survived relegation last season and we'll see what happens next. This season is far from over so while Spurs are looking up now, will they be at the end of the season?

Not sure , but I love a good David vs Goliath story .
Moneyball vs Moneybags , I'll take Moneyball . Leicester are breath of fresh air , from top to bottom and I hope they continue to battle for the title , as I think they will . Cheers

So you'll love the FA Cup then roofer when big teams get knocked out by small teams? Better be careful with your team then, bet you won't like a David and Goliath story then. Watford is it?

I live to see small clubs beat big clubs out of the FA Cup , if I had a tail ,it would be wagging when it happens.
Although being disappointed at getting knocked out of the FA Cup , after making 10 changes for the game , I'm happy watching Oxford move on to the next round at our expense ....especially being led by a guy named Roofe .....

Just about to dismount my high horse for another season but why the F*** don't we just play our strongest team in the FA Cup?
I know I'm an old dinosaur and people tell me the the games moved on - B******s all this resting players just causes loss of momentum and results in tame surrender to teams we should be beating, a piss poor Huddersfield, a poor Villa and Spurs etc etc. Ouch, just slipped out of the saddle!

    Easy to say in hindsight.
We should have won the first game with our reserves but for that dodgy penalty decision.
