Also Mark Clattenburg showed Jon Moss how to referee. He made the players decide the result not his decisions He could have easily booked Drinkwater in the first half but choose to not put himself in a position where he might have to stupidily send a player off Clattenburg gets alot of stick but IMO he is the best ref in the prem
Fantastic win though , anybody who thinks you're TEAM is based off of a player or two. Doesn't know their arse from a hole in the ground . You must keep this TEAM together for next season , including the manager and add a few players . Good luck from here boys and girls ... Not that I think you need it . Really enjoyed following you 're travels this season , I could smell it happening ...
Well here is what Jamie Vardy said at PFA Its like a fairground ride and we are just enjoying ourselves and we will keep enjoying ourselves for the last few games. There are no nerves at all. The press were saying for some reason that Leicester were a one-man team. Its completely the opposite. We are a complete team and we will fight for each other all the way. I was nervous. I hate watching. Like I’ve said the lads have done absolutely brilliant and they deserved it. Did you write his speech?
Put it this way. Say Vardy doesnt get another ban does he come back into the team? You cant drop Ulloa after today so either Vardy replaces Okazaki or sits on the bench
... it wiould depend on how Claudio wants to approach the game (somewhat obviously) ... United looked very good going forward against Everton ... yet vulnerable at the back ... watching the highlights, Rooney was allowed to dictate play from the middle of the park (paricularly in the first half) because he was given so much time and space ... now that ain't gonna happen with us .. end of the second half United were clinging on ... I'll be happy with whatever forward options Claudio decides ... because I know he will have given it a huge amount of consideration ... On yesterday... Leo led the line fantastically well ... he put in a huge amount of work closing down for such a big man and certainly helps our set piece defending capability as well as his threat in attack Mahrez looked back to his old self ... Schlupp was superb (other than the odd wayward shot) yesterday not only in attack, where his sheer pace would frighten the hell out of any defence ...but also in defence where he gives us extra solidity ... .. and what a cameo from Dimmy Gray? .... 5 white shirts blown away and a goal as the end product ... particularly liked the way he looked up and picked out Kingy at the far post after blowing away Jefferson Montero ... yes Jefferson Montero, who himself looked like Speedy Gonzalez at the World Cup ... that kid looks like being pure gold for the future ...
Agreed. I wouldn't want Leo dropped after yesterday so if Vardy is back, options for Claudio. Vardy off the bench of even Okazaki on the bench for me as Leo looks back to his old self from last season with 3 in 2
Hmmm. There will be a team vs Utd thread no doubt. Going to be interesting to see folks take on things.
I think that smell you referred to over the last few weeks was actually the result of my nervousness. Whole team was rock solid from back to front yesterday. Drinkwater broke up so many Swansea attacks and was always in the right place at the right time. Leo never lets us down and Schlupp was...... well, he was typically Schlupp. Fans behind the goal sit there at their peril! Fantastic time to be a Leicester supporter.
Think we need to see what the outcome of todays hearing is first, but its good to see that Ulloa seems to have found the same form he had when he signed last year.
Really doubt Vardy won't be banned but if Hodgeson's support has swayed them, he will be back in the side no question. The bigger question is if Schlupp will be - I reckon so as most likely will be facing Martial and can help out Fuchs and also attack the space behind.
Think Martial plays down their left side - so would be up against Mahrez and Simpson. Would be surprised if JS doesnt start though.
... as much as I'd love him to get off with the one match ... can't see it ... just hope they don't decide to make an example because he hurt Jon Moss's feelings by pointing out the truth
I think he will get a fine and 1 match ban. Thats what Diego Costa got I think Roy Hodgson's influence will stop the FA making an example out of him
