By the sound of things, it was Holloway's decision and the chairman tried to talk him into staying. I agree with others, it's a shame that he's gone: quite apart from always being good value in an interview, he seems like a decent bloke. I think Palace came up with a realistic attitude that there was a good chance they would go straight down again. They've not mortgaged their future on staying up, so whoever they get in, they'll be okay in the long-term. As I've said before, I've always had a soft spot for Palace, so I hope they don't have a miserable time of the next few months. I was delighted that we stuffed them, mind.
