... I have it on good authority that if Knocky and Drinky go out on loan this week our bench is likely to be Pugh, Pugh, Vardy, Dodoo, Cuthbert, Schmeichel and Grubb.
We outplayed Arsenal and was unlucky to lose, We should have got something against Man City and Chelsea. Liverpool was extremely lucky to get something off us at Anfield and we all know what happened when Man U came here We have out performed a lot of the top teams but not got the results, were sick of hearing about how well we have played and was unlucky to loss Its the lesser sides we have struggled against this season with us only beating you lot and Villa
Over the course of the season not many sides pick up points from the top teams, as you've pointed out, you've already had your share. We went into games against Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal knowing we took four points from the first round of fixtures. We got 0 this time, albeit somewhat controversially. You may pick up some points - you may need to if you don't beat the weaker sides - but I won't be putting any money on you.
We really need to be positive from the start vs. Hull. None of this not touching the ball for 10/15 mins and then just sitting back hoping that the opposition won't score - they will! We've only scored 24 goals all season and 5 came in one match, our starting line up hasn't scored in the last 8 matches. I'd rather we lose 4-3 going for it than just being tame for 70 mins and then trying to get back into games.
We need to go for the throat against teams like Hull. We letting too many sides off. We have lost some of our pressing game which was the catalyst for our start to the season. We have to go with Ulloa and Kramaric up top and then final 20 get Nugent and Vardy on to use their pace to get in behind Time for us to be ruthless like we was against Man U
I suspect that even if he only had another 9 fit outfield players the manager still wouldn't pick Albrighton.
We've got to play 2 up front but the midfield's got to getter closer to them and together with the full backs/wing backs give them some decent service.
... looks like we'll be playing 5 at the back ... http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/N...City-defence/story-26149078-detail/story.html In that case ... please please please play Jeff Schlupp in the left wing back position - we need to play 2 up front in this one and have attacking threat from wing backs ... playing Konch is not going to facilitate that ... if he starts with only one up front you may well see a grey haired - whilst incredibly handsome (something of a cross between George Clooney and Richard Gere) surprising youthful guy in his 50s, athletically running round to the dug-outs to give Nigel some 'right back at yer' verbal advice - i.e akin to a conversation he had with a certain fan some while ago now
I'm not sure NP has said, at this early stage, that we are going to continue with 3 at the back. If we do, I hope he plays De laet and Schlupp as the wing backs, as they have the pace and energy to get up and down. Agree, we need to play 2 up front and go at them right from the first kick. The longer it stays 0-0 or 0-1, the home crowd could just start to get on the players' backs and that is something we can not afford to do. THIS IS A MUST WIN GAME. If we lose, then even I will have to start thinking about us playing in the Championship.
If we playing with 5 at the back I want to see Ritchie De Laet come back in for Simpson and Schlupp left wing back with Mahrez playing behind Ulloa and Kramaric
Yeah, IF we go 5 at the back, I agree I'd like to see Shclupp moved to left-back. He's a defensive liability, but that shouldn't matter so much in this match, in which we should be looking to dominate.
Do or die stuff for Leicester & I reckon they will win this, they are due a win & I've seen Hull live twice this season & not been impressed, in fact I can't believe they've taken 6 points of us!
Im pretty confident about Saturday and last time I was felt like this was the Villa home game and we won I can see Vardy having an impact on Saturday
There are some decent chaps on the Hull Board for sure but the way a lot of them behaved after their late win against us recently has, rightly or wrongly, turned me right off that Club. I hope Leicester beat them this weekend
