Not very convincingly through in the second leg PNP. They won't win the EL losing away to a team they beat 5-1 at home. I wanted us to score five tonight.
If they win all of their ties 6-3 on aggregate, then they'll reach the final, TMT. I'm sure Laudrup's not too pleased, given the level of opposition, but the main thing was to progress without injuries. We could've easily got 5 tonight if we'd have really wanted to or needed it, but the job was done. I'd rather not risk anyone picking up a silly injury chasing goals that were irrelevant.
But they won't win 6-3 all the time PNP and Laudrup expressed his disappointment with the performance. Swansea hold no fears for me in the EL but I'm a little unhappy that we only scored three against such weak opposition especially as we thumped five past them away. It could be said that it was our second string team but more should have been scored. In the later stages we'll have our full team out and can judge better. I don't think Swansea will get very far.
Stuttgart got knocked out by Rijeka, a Croatian team I've never heard of. Udinese were eliminated by Czechs Slovan Liberec. St. Etienne were beaten at home by Danes Esbjerg, another side I've never heard of. Feyenoord went down 2-1 to Kuban Krasnodar, a Russian side that nobody's ever heard of. Night of shock results, I guess.
Absolutely delighted with tonight and the season so far. As with every other other game we created more chances than the other, not bad for a team that doesn't create much 4 games, 4 wins, ten for, none against, pure perfection. So great to see Kab and Sandro back at or near their best. I had strong doubts about both of them, but I doubt no longer. What a duo to add to the squad. I think five of the front 6 on Sunday will be Andro, Soldo, Paulo, Capo & Chado, who will be the 6th thougho? I'd go for Holtbyo if he's fit enough, but I guess it'll be Dembo.
There's nothing like a bit of competition to get good players playing better. Even Defoe seemed to work harder for the team. Must say, though, that, once again, I was not impressed with Kane. I really cannot see him making it in the top flight.
Braga are going out to Pandurii Targu, whoever the hell they are, after losing 1-0 at home in normal time and conceding a second with a couple of minutes of injury time left. That'll teach them to dress up like Arsenal.
Can't see it. Would be a step backward, as he's already proven himself in a superior league to the Eredivisie. Lloris Walker Dawson Vertonghen NewLB Paulinho Capoue Lamela Eriksen Chadli Soldado Friedel Naughton Kaboul Chiriches Rose Sandro Dembele Lennon Holtby Townsend Defoe Adebayor, Assou-Ekotto, Gomes and possibly Sigurddson out. Maybe Lennon, if he doesn't fancy it. Hmm...
holtby go out on loan ?????????????? no ****ing chance. i wouldnt mind betting he starts on sunday. will definitely be in the squad. i think there's more chance of dembele going than holtby.
maybe a bit of an overreaction to a 2nd leg win againast tiblisi, but i think i might take a bit of 20/1 on spurs winning the league.

Frightening. Yet, the Gooners will tell you that if they sign Di Maria, AFC will blow our squad out of the water.
