Same team as Everton but hopefully providing they are ready Forren and Lallana in for Hooiveld and Guly.

same team as Everton, but with those two on the bench if available and fit. Give them both a half or half an hour so they have some game time ready for Wigan.

I think this game will be one for a Chelsea type strategy. Man U will have Giggs, Scholes and some other big hitter on the becch to follow the predictable trajectory of playing like **** for an hour and carving us open late on. Man U's defence is leaky as **** and I think we could get some joy out of reversing the roles.

Lambert and Gaston on the bench.

I'd be amazed if Pochettino left Ramirez and Lambert on the bench; isn't this one of the big criticisms aimed at Nigel (right or wrong), and I am sure he won't want to be seen to do the same thing. He'll take his own route and it's a chance to pit his wits against Fergie.

I love how Lamballana has to post a thread regardless of how early it is i reckon we will have a summer transfer rumour thread before easter. surely the mods need to lock these threads as they always end up going off topic or people repeating each other because its to much hassle to trawl through 300 pages of posts.

SK I guarantee some-one would have started a thread for next week if I hadn't. No-one is forcing anyone to post though. Your choice!

I actually like most of lamballanas threads lets face it he starts so many there's bound to be a few you like. However these team threads are really pointless IMO. We all know we really only have 13 maybe 14 players that will make the starting 11 so the team is always going to be pretty much the same with maybe 1 or 2 changes. This then all gets repeated when the match thread comes out. What next a score prediction thread for the next game. Lets try to keep it fresh.

Those 1 or 2 changes can make all the difference in terms of strategy.

Guys if that's a majority view of course I'll abide by it. Seemed to me though that there were quite a few possible options for next weeks match.

Well as we're probably going to get comprehensively beaten either way it makes more sense to protect our most valuable players IMO.

We've just been to Stamford Bridge and drew 2-2. We went to Britannia and drew 3-3 when they were on a great run, and should have won that game if we hadn't thrown it away. There is no reason we can't get something at Old Trafford considering we should have beaten them earlier in the season. We are a much better side now compared to then as well.

K.Davis, Lambert, Gaston, S.Davis, Forren, Chaplow, Lallana?

Old Trafford is by a long way the hardest ground to get a result from. A lot harder than Stamford Bridge at the moment anyway.

At St Marys Rickie had both Ferdinand & Vidic scared sh1tless, given the service again Rickie can deliver

The problem is he will get hardly any service at Old Trafford as United will have the majority of possession.

Yep, sometimes you have to accept you won't see a lot of the ball. Counter, counter, counter.
