I’ve never had a problem with coffee (or caffeine) and sleeping. I could drop off to sleep 30 seconds after finishing a double espresso.

Never understood why people drink coffee at night before bed. If you like it that much then surely just get decaf, as it won’t keep you up til daft o clock.
Some people are immune to caffeine though, can do 4 double espresso and a red bull then fall asleep on a loud train. I’d be bouncing off the walls.

I used to be like that until my 30's. Then started getting blinding migraines. Went for tests and scans and allsorts. Thought I had a brain tumour of something. Turned out they'd got a new coffee maker in work and I was going through about six or seven grade 5 cups of Columbian a day. Even have to have decaf tea nowadays, never mind coffee. Dark chocolate sets me off too.
Pure Colombian caused me a few headaches too, back in the day.*
*actually it wasn't that pure
Always thought coke was overrated back in the day. Maybe I wasn't getting the good stuff in the 80's. Always preferred bog standard whizz. Knew what you were getting. As you'd know being railway, not touched anything since the mid-90's when the D&A policy was enforced. Not worth losing your job over. Miss blow though.
