See, now this is a crime against tea. But at least my man Mehmet left the tea bag in, so it’ll come good eventually. And it cost a quid; Pret, three doors up, would have charged me £2.75 for an even worse attempt...

they soak up half a cup of tea per rusk

I remember a sesh in the early days when everyone was on the midnight munchies and I pulled a box of these out. One of my mates took one and bit into it raw, looked at me and goes WTF is this **** <laugh> Then I told him to dip it into the brew and take a bite. I swear he caned half the box after <laugh>

That's the thing about them, without the tea they're dry as fck. It's like their whole purpose for existing is tea.

Is eating rusk as an adult a Pakistani thing bro? I worked on a project once and the client was Pakistani, his family used to come in the office every few days and sit round a boardroom table dunking rusks in latte.

Always thought it was baby food.

I dgaf about Coffee either, I drink decaf so I’m not spoiled for choice. Used to like a mellow birds.

I had a latte last night at about half ten.
Finally got to sleep at about 3.
Think I’m gonna stick to my Pepsi max and try grown up drinks again in a few years time.

I'm no coffee snob. Nescafe from the jar. Milk and one sugar
Same, only difference is, i ain't had sugar in tea or coffee for a few years now.
Everytime when i pop down to my mums, she hoys 1 or 2 of those sugar things in, the one that pop out like tics tacs... I just spit it out and go ffs, funny as ****, as my dad just laughs at her in disgust.

Best coffee I have is from a French stove top pot.

It's absolutely superb coffee from that. Use Lavazza coffee. It makes two espresso or one decent size Americano.

We've got a Gaggia machine but she uses that mainly for her one daily coffee, prefer one form the pot.

Have a one man Bodum for work. Not till after two cups of PG Tips in the morning though.

Can't drink instant, it's ****ing horrible nasty ****. Nescafe and the like, headache inducing, awful ****e.

The new style Barista style granules aren't quite so bad, if in a hurry.

Red Bush tea is decent too. Prefer that to green tea.
Yorkshire Tea is the dog's bollocks, though it pains me to say so <grr>

Thats so weak its leaning against the side of the cup....

Never understood why people drink coffee at night before bed. If you like it that much then surely just get decaf, as it won’t keep you up til daft o clock.

Some people are immune to caffeine though, can do 4 double espresso and a red bull then fall asleep on a loud train. I’d be bouncing off the walls.
