In all seriousness, I think Tash leaving could be a good thing in some ways. There are plenty of very good posters on here who get their opinions ignored because Tash's threads push them down the pages and he gets treated like a celebrity.

this, and the worst one was good threads where he would come and post some bollocks then the thread goes completely off topic and it all became about him. i didn't mind him when he wasn't screaming out for attention. but even now the forum is all about him.

Again, agreed. The one thing Tash always craved was the sole attention of the board. Now he's 'gone' he's getting exactly that. He was good for a laugh at times however it annoyed me when someone would post a thoughtful and well expressed thread and they would get about 15 replies, and then Tash would post a load of **** and get about 600 replies simply because he was Tash. People joke about the clique on here, and it doesn't particularly bother me, but to deny it's there is naive at best.

If we all actually had to compare ourselves to players, who would we be?

I'd probably Guthrie...

...I just would.

I'd be Cabaye because just like him I seem to attract guys and girls.

Ive wrote a poem.

"Tash, the way you left was rash"
"You've left in search of gash"
"Some beef curtains to smash"
"A job for some cash"
"You could be a chef and mash"
"Gay porn on the sexy poll"
"Nearly proved to be fatal"
"Im going to listen to Peter Gabriel"

Is it safe to say that any topics from "new" members will be greeted with a hail of 'Hi Tash's? In fact someone should commission a special Griff for the occasion.
