That has been the same for the last 3 seasons, with a new coach and a new start and we have been given the same ****. I really hope Clement pulls this off and I will be in the East stand shouting for them. I am so fed up with the way the club is run (not the side) that to find any positivity is difficult. It is hard to not expect the same old.

C'mon you know you want to...

As I said I will be there as I always am and always hoping for a win. but I am expecting to watch a team to day who are a little better organised but will still get battered, wish we were playing a beatable side to give us some confidence. Last week with the same man in charge and a strong side on the pitch we lost to bottom of the table Hull 2-0, what has happened this week to make me think anything else will change.

I'm not expecting a win, but I'm expecting a performance!! Me too, I was fvckin livid at the supposed 'lack-lustre' display 2nd half last Sat, but I know the crowd won't accept that today!! So that's why I'm feeling positive we should see a performance, win, lose or draw. Also, we do have a history, rightly or wrongly for raising it against 'top' opposition...

STID

You are right we do normally play better against better opposition. The crowd didnt accept the west Ham performance but it still happened again 3 days later against Bournemouth and the same **** against Hull. I am not expecting to win or get anything today. I just hope to see some sort of change, some sort of spark, just something that gives us a bit of hope. I am not going to hold my breath though, but will be more than happy to come back on here later if we do see a change and eat a little humble pie.

Cant say I've been too enamoured with the fans much all season. Far too many mimes and plastics sitting about waiting to be entertained for my liking. The Chelsea game showed the impact us fans can have on the players and on the result of a game. One game doesn't make a season though.

As a crowd, as a group of fans we've been far too passive like an audience watching a play. We only make noise when something on the stage makes us react. Good enough from an audience but not good enough for fans of a premier league football club.

We need to make the players hear us, we need to do our part and lift their performances as high as we can, we need to make some noise, lots of noise. .

I'm off to the Liberty right now wrapped up warm in black and white and I'm gonna make as much noise as my bust lungs will let me.

See you on the other side and if you're going to the game, ROAR for the team, the club and for every Jack who cant get there.

I agree with that. Our fans for decades have always found their voice when something good happens and tend to be very quiet when things go wrong - or worse, get on the backs of players. We've always been the same, even in the days of the Vetch, but maybe fans of other clubs are the same.

Decisions to be made . Frankly , I don't see us getting much up till the end of February, which will see us solidify last spot IMO ( based on today performance and who we play till the end of February . With only 2 weeks left in the" target " phase of players , I think we should switch from targeting players in to targeting players out for " Organized Failure " . Siggy , Fernandez , Baston ( on loan or sold at the right price ), Montero , Taylor ... if we can find buyers . We going down , whether or not the Americans sell our player assets to recoup their money and resell the club , it's still our club and local buyers should be found again to restart in the Championship . The trust should try to gather more shares if the sellout scenario happens . The old owners who made their " Bundle " should sell their shares to local owners and the trust as a peace offering in general AND GET THE FUK OUT OF DODGE

Well that's the end of that then :(

We should have sold Taylor - probably get £5-£10m as he's a Welsh international and used the Olsson and Carroll cash - £10m and bought Ben.

£10-£15m would have been enough imo.

Don't mention that we could have had Joe back for £10m just in case 55 is watching....:bandit:

£10million for Carroll makes Joe a £35million player then. I will be pissed right off if these figures are true.

By the way, we could have had Joe back for £8million before the Euros :)

Why would we sell one of the few decent players we have left? you now that the Idiot Jinx will never put that back into the squad, if this happens, that will remove any doubt I have, that we are simply preparing for the Championship.................<ok>
