SSN reported in the last hour, that WHU want £30m+ for Payet & so far the only club expressing an interest is Marseille. They also said, Marseille to meet WHU officials for talks tomorrow, so if a deal happens & there's any substance to the Gylfi link, this could get messy for us...

Well we shouldn't budge at less than £35 million for Gylfi.

Well we've got a tendency to buckle easily when any transfer offer gets 'North' of £20m+... I don't trust the board or owners to do the right thing for our club. Also, would Gylfi think, fvck it, there's no much more I can do here & want to go anyway. He's seen our sh1te movements (or lack of) in the last couple of windows & poor intentions in this transfer market. I wouldn't blame him....

Fully agree.

If we get relegated , we will get between nothing and not a lot for Siggy depending on how his contract is written . 26 million offer now .....sorry but ...SOLD

Why sell him when we STILL have a chance of staying up? Bollocks to boosting the Yanks pockets, he stays put. If we go down and he leaves on the cheap so what? The Yanks won't reinvest the cash on the squad.

I dont believe we have a cat in hells chance of staying up, the clubs ****ed top to bottom. Whenever we eventually sell Siggy, the money won't be reinvested in my opinion on quality players, bashing basement here we come.

Sky just reporting that Birmingham are making enquiries about Routledge. Thoughts. Depending on fee I say yes.

Can't agree with this at all. Selling your best players when you're in a relegation scrap is nothing short of outright insanity. Bearing in mind what's at stake here £26M is almost a drop in the ocean.

Terrible business Roof.

The sale of Siggy shouldn't be up for discussion anywhere even at the Urinals on match day, regardless how much you've had to drink

You might as well throw the club off of a cliff, climb down to the battered corpse, decapitate it and then bash its brains out with a brick. Selling Siggy would be nothing short of clubicide.

Whether we get £20m, £30m or even £60m for him it wouldn't matter because we'd lose so much more in the short run. Selling our best player now means we concede now, we give up now, we are gutless now and we accept relegation now even though there is just less than half the season left to play AND we're only 2 point away from safety.

Well if Clement is also looking at Kakuta, it may suggest that he believes that Routledge is no longer up to PL standard....
That is something he is right about. Routledge time is done for me. We need another winger along with Narsingh. That was clear on the weekend. But we could pick to let go 1 of 4.

I hope we don't see Siggy going anywhere until we are relegated, unless the club (who are owned by money grabbing bastards) want to line their pockets a bit more. I do think that any offer in the 25m range may force his sale, but it would yet gain be another act of short-sightedness as that would certainly condemn us to relegation and our shysters would lose more than they gain if that happens.

Unfortunately the current owners and old ones, don't give 2 ****s for the club and as long as they make a bit of cash short term they are happy.
