This will be our biggest spend I think, and I doubt we will rush this, though just one commanding Captain material at CB, would make me very happy Valley, just keeping my fingers crossed that Jinx doesn't screw this one up...............<ok>

Carroll for 4.5 million is a grey area signing for me . I think that he is worth that price but will be an overload to midfield and I feel the money could be spent better on defence . Welcome to him though if it's true .
Agree with this to an extent. Midfield not a massive priority and I'm not sure he actually adds to what we already have. Scratch that, I'm pretty sure he adds nothing unless they know someone's on the way out. A decent striker and CB have to be priorities now, particularly the latter.

Do you know something we don't?

There so many out there but depending on budget most of time pay peanuts get monkeys !
Wingers simple, fast runners keep ball at feet cross we'll !
Mid field accurate passing tough but clever not to get caught out to often !
Defender tall tough brave reads game well !
Captain a bit of all that and demands and commands respect !

Any of them out there within our budget and who's in charge of it jinx or clemo ?

I wasn't going to anyways ... between that and Lefty not going to the game, there are possibilities ...lol
That's out the window my son's game is off, so I will be using my ST today. Cant get excited though. who knows the performance may change how I feel. Cant watch much more like the West ham and Bournemouth **** we were served up.

Looks like a young Siggy or a young Leon to me.

So what you think chaps, money well spent or flushed away? Will he fit or fade?

I'm lost with this signing, he looks neat and tidy, he seems to have a pass on him and he seems like a very good player so could he be that special player I've been dreaming about. That under rated, under the radar talent with boundless enthusiasm, a hidden gem who loves playing football for all the right reasons.

Even if that player does exist in todays' game, and I'm not so sure he does, is that player Carroll?

In my head I'm asking, if he is that player and as good as this short video suggests then why did Dan Levy let him go for only £4m? why had he fallen down the pecking order at Spurs? why wasn't he in Pochettino's plans and why would he want to come to a struggling team languishing second from last in the prem?

I'm confused about Carroll  and probably life in general.

Have a bit of positivity ffs...

I for one can't fvckin wait!!
Good for you I for one can. I love the swans but at the moment I hate the club I see. We are a joke and a shambles and I see nothing at the moment in what is happening to change my mind. I just hope today that we actually look like a PL side even if we get beat and not a L2 side that I have been watching all season. If we give Arsenal a game then that is progress.

Lets see what happens come 5pm.

Total waste for me unless as someone said we are losing a midfielder. He brings nothing that we haven't got, he is not a youngster and I think Spurs have had the better of us here, would rather the money be spent on a position we need. Lets not forget Stumpy those clips are the best of him, they don't show the ****e. Still he is here so good luck to him.

We've got a new head-coach & a new 'stellar' assistant coach we hope. I'm looking forward to getting behind them & the team for a fresh start. It might not turn out to be at '5pm'!! But what's the point of anything if we're not going to see that something 'could' be better...

COYS..

IMO this is the most important game since Hull.

There is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide any more, there are no more excuses left, its **** or bust.

THIS IS IT, today we find out everything, who we are, what we are and what the players have got in their hearts. **** political correctness, today is a Mans day a day for battlers, fighters, warriors, its our day to stand up.

Don't know whether I'll be laughing or crying come 17:00 but this is the most excited I've felt about a Swans game for decades.

That has been the same for the last 3 seasons, with a new coach and a new start and we have been given the same ****. I really hope Clement pulls this off and I will be in the East stand shouting for them. I am so fed up with the way the club is run (not the side) that to find any positivity is difficult. It is hard to not expect the same old.
