I couldn't disagree more with this. It could be so much worse, Leeds, Brum and Portsmouth are obvious examples.

At the moment, yes, but I think Tan is capable of leaving this club in a far worse state than any of the above....at least they still exist. If Tan could recoup his (or at least a chunk of it) money now I don't think it would bother him one bit to stick up 'closed' notices on the gates. And this I fear may well happen some time in the future.

The point is that the level of debt is so far in excess of the value of the club, not even a clueless American or loony tune Italian will be daft enough to take the club over after Tan has capitalised his secured loans by stripping the club of all its assets including the players, parachute payments (if allowed under the rules), cash and anything of value including fixtures and fittings. There can be no Administration process as there will be nothing in the kitty for an Administrator to work with so, as I see it, liquidation might be the only answer. If the hostility towards Tan continues I can well envisage him walking away and the club folding.

Unfortunately the situation is far worse than most people believe.

I know plenty will refuse to accept any comment which portrays Tan in anything other than the worst light but I honestly don't believe he'd want to be the man who shut down Cardiff city football club. That would be a huge embarrassment and permanent stain on his reputation. I think pride and reputation are far more important to him than money as he has plenty of that.
If he cuts and runs and we end up with some asset stripping prick like Portsmouth ended up with then we can all decide if we want to watch L2 or conference football.

The answer from the vast majority of current fans will certainly be "no".

If Tan walks and leaves us in the mire, then you would have to lay the blame firmly at the feet of the fans who show him constant and i mean constant vitriol. Some of it is disgusting, however i think there may be a trick or two left up his sleeve yet. So lets wait and see.

Cardiffs problem lies with the fans that walk through the sh|t Tan creates , holding up signs crediting Tan and discrediting fellow fans for standing up to Tan ..like the poster above.

I am not discrediting anyone, however some of the things that are being said are vile, which is not acceptable. Personally i would like to see someone local own the club, but we do not see anyone bashing the door down to take the reigns. So for a change why dont we all just support the club and its players and staff until something does change. Saw Russell Slade in the Brains pub on St marys street last night (The Yard) there was a player with him that i certainly did not recognise, and then again in Carter and Millers steak restaurant (very nice) who was he ??

agree your not going to get promotion in a month of sundays. your not good enough for a start. Tan has 3 other clubs anyway so he can sell up and not give cardiff a second thought. His plan of making cardiff a top club has failed and that must be a gut wrenching disappointment for him and he is a man who is use to success...He is probably making plans now to make as much money as he can before he calls it a day....

<laugh>....ew is fking simple ew is

ignore roof guys the daft **** hasn't got a fking clue what he`s on about he`s only here for his own needs...........similar 2 tan really <laugh>

hey roof seen any ebola ridden isis members running around lately <laugh>.....u stupid stunt <wink>

Ronnie slade was with the painter soon 2 be our new midfield general..........ps Ronnie most people will find it difficult 2 support a club that doesn't listen 2 fans............u see asking and telling are two different things and that's what tan has gone and done....he`s told us if we don't like it fk you......now that has got many spitting with anger and I for one would see the club fold before setting foot in the ground again......but hey ho im the twenty percent tan doesn't give a fk for>>>>>money men hey they make me fking sick

What's been said then? Give us a link. Do you honestly think Tan gives a ****?

How did you know he was a player if you didn't recognise who he was?

Can always tell when abers an angry fool , always three posts in a row ..lol .thought you would have joined ISIS by know . ..how anyone can back Tan over fellow fans after what Tan has inflicted on Cardiff is mindboggling ....all in the name of your need for your next "" Money Fix""

I don't agree with isis roof you yank war pig, but I can understand how they came about(ive been watching the stick that stirred the hornets nest since 9/11)>>>>>>tiz a pity you don't see it either, but with u being old redneck mountain village idiot I don't expect you 2 think much tbh <ok>

talking about the need for money and your next fix>>>where will bomb next atom bomb baby

One of their stories is how Tan has paid off every other secured creditor.

Ok, he might be clearing the decks and tidying up ready to sell. In all honesty though I think he is slowly working towards the position he promised, in red, like he promised. I know the calls to convert the debt to equity are still there but these things don't happen overnight. He would appear to be in a position to start that process now though.

If he was about to strip all the money he could from the place and do a runner investing millions more to pay off existing debts would be a ****ing stupid way to start.

True Steve but he is also in a position to promote a sale stating there are no other external debts for any buyer to worry about. They only have to deal with him. <yikes>

That was my first suggestion but he's got absolutely no chance of a buyer currently, if he was going to sell he would be better off changing us back to blue to unite the club. A club as depressed as ours is not an attractive proposition for any buyer regardless of the obvious club value/debt issues.
