Spot on Steve and I think most are coming around to that way of thinking. Tan was vital to our survival 4 years ago and still is as long as he doesn't say bo££ocks to you all and jump ship for a knock down price to the devil we don't know.

Never mind all the saving face and protocol, life would be so much easier for him and everyone else if he backed off a little and considered the fans views in all of this. The simple task of returning to blue gracefully (without some bitter statement) would mend a lot of bridges, unite most of the club (some will never be satisfied) and enable the fans to support the team without all the other crap going on.

Regardless of which league we are in he would then have a more marketable entity to enhance the value if he wanted to sell.

have a look at the other forum, you know the one run by CCFC number 1 set of fans.
Plus the aggro between our own fans at Bournemouth.
I have been going home and away (away not so much now) for 40 odd years. Back in the 80's it was bad. But there is still a very bad element to some of our so called fans, and i firmly believe they are being driven by a form of hatred, probably being constantly preached to them. Not nice i know but its there. There was a story of golf balls being thrown at our own fans in the Ninian stand not so long back, just for wearing a red shirt. To many this appears to be a sign of dis loyalty to the club, whereas the only people who are being dis loyal are the perpetrators themselves. It will get worse before it gets better.
For the record, i will be renewing my season tickets, as i WILL NOT BE LED, by a bunch of idiots telling me to do otherwise, and i think you will find i will be in the majority and not the minority.
 
Blue - I think a change back to blue will signify Tan has one foot out of the door. Once he is packing it in he will not care about his red shirts, for as long as he continues to insist on red I think he's planning to stay.
As you say it would be so much easier to change but Tan doesn't do it the easy way, he does things his way. He will only change the kit if he is definitely leaving imo.

I will add that your line about 'supporting the team without the other crap' is one of my biggest issues. Our crowd does not support the side at the moment. The vast majority sit in total silence, until about 100 people sing about blue shirts on 19.27 then everyone sits in silence unless we score. It would be great if we could put it all behind us for 90mins and support the side. We should have 2 proper wingers on the pitch on Saturday hopefully the team will produce and we can get behind them properly.
 
You are probably right Steve - there's none so blind as them who cannot see - and Tan is overdue a trip to Specsavers.

It's just one little thing in the overall scheme of things but a simple change back to blue would quickly change a lot of the bad feelings in the club at present.
 
Yes, when looking at the bigger picture. Tan would not necessarily feel the love but might get a bit more respect and less hostility and the club, team and fans would be re-united to push on together not as the dis-functional, separate parts we are now.

This comes from me who doesn't have the same strength of feelings as others over the colours in which we play. If I can change my position then surely Tan can? <whistle>
 
you b right there bfb ffs all we want is our colour back, I don't want no fking sorry I was wrong off him, every fkr makes mistakes and forgiveness is key in making some common ground where all sides can be happy......just some fking unity again between fans would be great before some serious shi.t.e hits the fan.....but yes as per usual tho both extremes of the subject matter are causing nothing more than a festering mess of anger and spite and them in the middle are suffering the end result.

The longer he is there the worse its going to be to fix the mess tan will leave behind..your a joke club to every other clubs fans while Vincent turns your club into his personal club bit by bit eventually renaming it Tan united <laugh> sad but laughable...

Point i was trying to make Aber. He is probably not backing down, pure and simply down to the ****e attitude of some of our fans. Would i back down, i dont know, simply because i would not have changed things in the first place. But then again Luceeeee red got us to the PL, and what an experience that wasnt. 50 years i waited for that heap of rubbish.

Advise from Aber about respect ...lol.. you really are are numbskull of the highest quality .Respect is one thing , having his nose constantly up your arses is another .Ill leave you guys to your board , I wasnt going to win the prediction league anyways . Good luck in all your personal lives . and I hope Tan's pecker falls off and a dog comes along and pisses on it cheers
