If Tan makes all the football decisions then he told Malky and Warnock what to do?.

What we need and crave is a manager who expressly does not take any notice whatsoever of what Tan wants [which is likely to be what he’s been told by Dalman] and is just left to get on with what he was employed to do ie create a winning team playing an attractive style of football with no intermeddling on that by the owner.

Sadly that is an illusory pipe dream.

Well at least it seems that Erol is digging his heels in. Unfortunately, it'll probably end up with Tan getting his arse in his hand again.

Spot on Brizzo, but I doubt the invitation to join in discussions with a more affable tone will be accepted.

We'll have to accept that we're a "broad church" (I hate that experssion <grr>) on here and opinions are just that - opinions.

Intransigence rules - for some!!...........<laugh>
We had in transit gents rules too but everyone farted in the van anyway.

Offended by this Clingy, that’s a man-ism comment and will not be tolerated on this forum! Women fart too and can certainly hold their own in that respect....often remember Doris doing it in my face as a reward after our sexual intercourse....used to charge Masky £15 a phut! :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky

Some of those travelling in said van were women but once again you jumped to a conclusion in your inevitable sexist way. No flatulence intended <nahnah>

If Bulut did well but Tan tells him what to do then Tan did well. Jones, Neil Harris got us in the play offs and Malky and Warnock got us promoted, as a manager Bulut is in the also ran categories, even Slade finished 8th and 11th. However if Bulut does get another year mid table will be another wasted season and no progress so he has to get promotion, if he does that then he will have learnt the championship is about winning games and not giving other teams an easy ride. I really do not care about the owner or manager all I want is to win every game.If anyone is interested in winning games I am more than happy to reply..

Morison signed a contract extension on 2 March 2022, until the summer of 2023, after leading the team clear of the relegation places and impressing the board of directors with "a progressive and clearly identifiable playing style".[117] He was named as the EFL Championship Manager of the Month for March 2022 after Cardiff won three matches and remained unbeaten that month,[118] and Cardiff finished the season in 18th place, 16 points above the relegation places.[1

I'm not quite sure what the point of your posts are jck?

Morison DID try to instill a different style of play to begin with yes, but ended up isolating several squad players including a promising youngster, telling VT to feck off (reportedly) and finished lower in the league than Bulut did...

Slade was actually an underrated manager in many respects. Did an admirable job in terms of league placement and oversaw an incredibly difficult period of massive cost cutting. However, if you think the football under Bulut is boring then just take a look back at those days under Slade.... By God, even our wins were generally enough to put you to sleep whilst watching.

I'm still struggling to understand why you keep ignoring everyone's comments about the NEGATIVES and positives about Bulut?

No manager in the last goodness knows how long has been infallible. Malky had us playing some negative stuff at times and we all know about the money wasted and rather poor attitude towards other races....
Warnock's style was a little more rudimentary but effective, but he blew millions on terrible transfers too.
Dave Jones had us playing some really good stuff but ultimately failed to achieve promotion....

It would have been over simplistic to have expected Bulut to achieve promotion this year with an embargo, only one transfer window we could spend in but with a tiny budget and a massive squad overhaul to achieve....
It takes a couple of years to build a successful team, so if (and it's looking like a big if) he gets a second year AND money to spend then yes, expectations will be a bit higher but otherwise then we'll continue to stagnate again or begin to go backwards again...
He's made plenty of mistakes but has also gotten plenty right, enough to give us our highest finish in a few years.
Hopefully he can learn and build but if not, we'll just sack him and go find someone else anyway....

We all want to see the team winning games mate but no one is ever going to win them all!!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah whatever.
But I'm interested in hearing from the expert on how to win games. Ooh, and if we could also get a bit of guidance on copy and paste, that would be a bonus.

I can see all the posts saying Bulut is the best manager we ever had,but personally I think he is useless. See, everyone has said the positives and I am just one saying the negative so there you have it. It is very one sided but we will see if he gets a new contract but don`t complain if we get more of the same as I will not complain if he gets us promoted as that is the job at Cardiff.

Please back up your statement by providing a link to where anyone has said he's the best manager we ever had. I can't remember anyone saying it.
But hey, why let the facts get in the way of a wind up eh?
