I think Dudgeon will definitely be first choice left back, if Dawson didn't have an automatic extension clause in his contract, I don't think he'd even be at the club now.

i think he will be plying his trade across the river by Sept. Either loan with a view to, or indeed perm free transfer. I suppose it ll be about wages, being as his wages are still Duffen/Brown related one would assume

I wont write off Dawson just yet. I expect Dawson to start as first choice with Dudgeon fazed in during the season.

Sure is to early to start picking teams, but that isn't going to stop anyone. You may pick players who are injured until October, players who are likely to leave and add goal keepers who do not play for us.

I don't expect to see Dawson in the starting XI at all next season, unless Dudgeon is injured.
Stewart, Evans and Chester all went straight into the starting XI, I fully expect Dudgeon to do the same.
Isn't as simple as that, is it? I'm sure Cardiff fans thought the same when they got Bellamy last summer.
Nine of those eleven are contracted Hull City players. We all know a goalkeeper is coming and to be fair Given did look like the weak link in that team. Perhaps those nice people at Liverpool will sell us Ayala and lend us a Keeper. It would be rude no to find a place on the bench for recently purchased players.
