I had to watch Songs Of Praise the other week. There were people wearing jeans. That never happened back when I went to church. I didn't see any chinos on the programme FYO.

I'm very concerned by the number of people on here who wear chinos.

What the hell is wrong with you?

I have one pair, which fit the gap between formal and informal wear. Unfortunately a lot of my meetings I attend are 'Smart casual - No denim'. Chinos and cords are the only real alternatives unfortunately.

Like Bob and OLM I don't wear chinos.

I thought they were just one of those gay fads that started about 3 years ago. Like those top-knot hairdos on men. Didn't realise grownups seriously liked them.

Spoken like a child? <whistle>

Almost the same.

Wearing a suit at work would get me strange looks unless meeting specific clients. Our policy is smart casual, so chinos are the best option with a jacket, shirt, shoes and definitely no tie.

No way in hell would I wear cords.

Gay fad PLT? lol that says more about you than anyone wearing chinos.

The top knots are not a gay thing either btw, they're a dickhead thing.

Better than any chinos...

I also own some red corduroys...it is entirely possible that I'd been drinking prior to the purchase.
I did wear them once...but not in this country
