Haven't seen the interview yet, but he seems to be looking worryingly disheartened recently. If he does walk I wonder how our owners would go about replacing him? They've always got Richard Murray to advise them I suppose
But 'ifs' and 'maybes' are all you get with new managers... There are no guarantees are there..? Will things improve..? We've proved they don't, having had so many managers to judge since Curbs... The only guarantee is, if we get a new manager he'll eventually get the same treatment from the unwell as all our managers got... All CAFC ills will be his fault... Bleedin' groundhog day supporting this club...
it's a fact that all new managers improve results initially, but it's also a fact that when you pan out these results over a period of time very little difference is seen. A clubs foundations is what's important... Far too much weight given to aspects of the managers job, especially in a takeover thread which really does highlight more important problems at the moment.
It hardly encourages reasoned discussion to describe anyone who disagrees with you as "the unwell". We are playing very poorly, and how can you discuss that without looking at the reasons why?
lol, this is true when you think about it. the last boss got done for thieving eventually - probably the least illegal thing he did (email snooping, not coming in, swearing at staff, having favourites etc). and yes, as soon as he left, everyone started having to do there own work and doing more. i do think football is different though.
I hadn't noticed anyone disagreeing with me..? Many of the well known unwell all over the net constantly lump similar remarks at SCP supporters... I have no interest in either party as I've already stated I think too much importance is placed on managers.
THat's the trouble. The debate shouldn't swing one way or another with every goal scored for or against.
You haven't read all the posts, have you? I have already taken umbrage to you using the term 'unwell' to describe non-CP supporters. Try to form the basis of your argument without the use of pejorative terms, for they are lazy and highly offensive. Thank you.
Oh dear. While you lot are all falling out with each other, and all taking moral high ground your club is folding. Let me break it to you. It ain't my fault. Nor is it the fault of those you collectively dismiss so readily...... Go back and read the posts some of you were so quick to rubbish pointing out your real position. The sad fact is they were right and you were wrong.
I know you're from Yorkshire but that is no reason to intrude on other people's private grief. Plenty of caves near Harrogate to go back to.
. I cannot believe the factional infighting that goes on here. The club need it's supporters all united and not knocking lumps off each other. Obviously I realise a fair number ( you know who you are) would rather win a debating point than support your club". It does make a good read though.
Haha I've no idea as I can't be bothered with the crap that goes on in these forum places, but I would guess your probably spot on... He also tried to have an argument with me in another thread where he openly admitted he had no grasp of what I was saying...
I was at Elland Road for the recent Wigan Match and factional fighting amongst the Leeds fans was also amazing. It was also interesting to watch but being a polite visitor I decided not to participate
I guess it was all above your intellectual level so perhaps you were right to keep quiet. But we played well and won and our to financial problems are behind us.
You are now an ignoramus, too. I used the term 'pompous prat' in jest, hence the smiley face. And, if you remember, I had accused you of being pompous in an earlier post.
Just because you smile doesn't make it less of an insult. If I am an ignoramus as you suggest I suppose my comments have no value and I should cease making them. I think I may take you up on that suggestion.
Fair enough, SVC. I didn't think it was an insult, but if it has upset you, then I apologise. However, I do take offence to people being labelled as 'unwell' just because they've lost faith in Chris Powell.
