Why not? We haven't got anyone in our entire squad who can influence a game of football.

I fully expect him to leave as he will be wanted by a better club with much better fans as ours don't understand football and have been brain washed by TV ... left fickle and useless and have no one at the moment to slag off

Thanks for the suggestion DT !!

What a lame post, so you dont like our club or our fans ?

"brain washed by TV" - WTF is that supposed to mean ?

Love the guy, and really hope he stays. But not as captain.

He was before, but it is not right to strip Hill of the captaincy and give it back to Adel.

When I read warnocks book, it was clear to me the attitude he has means his career has a low ceiling.

Warnock said they had to put up with so much rubbish with Adel, but they did it because they knew they needed him. Im my opinion we don't need him anymore, get rid.

I'm a great fan of Adel's but find it difficult to treat seriously the question of him being captain. Last time round, he was captain in name only but we needed him and I would support any ploy to get him back playing at his best for us.

However, there's been a lot of water under the bridge since he was setting fire to the Championship and I struggle to believe that he would ever be disciplined and committed playing for QPR. As much as I would love that to happen, I don't believe in miracles and, right now, I'm more concerned about his potential disruptive influence on the squad and on the changing room.

It seems that nearly 90% of people think that he's a thick **** <laugh>

I guess he must be a bit thick, if he thinks he can just swan back in to our team as if nothing ever happened and he feels he is above an apology for insulting our beloved club by constantly stating he didn't want to stay at the club.

What ever happened to the interest from massive/top European clubs that he felt he should be playing for.

As much as I enjoyed watching Taarabt on the pitch under Warnock, he's just like a petulant ten year old who sulks if he doesn't get his way. By the way he looks fatter and unfit in the training pics & video. Thanks for everything Adel but you know where the door is that leads to the bus stop.

More pertinently; would he want it?

To borrow an analogy from business.... you don't necessarily make your best salesman the sales manager!

What............like Joey did?

Linked with Juventus (again):

Allegri wants Tottenham Hotspur forward and QPR man at Juventus

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has set his sights on a number of player’s as he gets his new side ready for the season ahead, with Tottenham Hotspur forward Erik Lamela heading his wishlist.

Allegri was official appointed to the Bianconeri bench on Wednesday and will look to win over a section of the Old Lady support that where skeptical about his appointment.

According to Tuttosport, Lamela and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt, who tspent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan, are two of Allegri’s main targets.

The Rossoneri seem reluctant to match QPR’s asking price of €7 million for Taarabt which could let Juventus in to strike a deal for the Morocco international.

Also the name of Wesley Sneijder is reported to be in the frame for a move back to Italy with Juventus as Turkish giants Galatasaray might be willing to release the player.

It would destroy the whole "weRtogether" ethos.

I think he was singularly the most talented player of the last few years, loved watching him....but I do not want him anywhere near this team........nowhere near our captain.
This team has to work together, and die for each other
no

IMO Adel was always part of QPR but knew and believed in his own ability
By far the best player we have had at QPR and now further along our timeline he is thought of as the one who disrupted the club

He needed good management but sadly we haven't got that

For those blinded by Harold ask yourselves how much he has disrupted our football club? Firstly on the back of a failed experiment before brainwashing the fans every chance he got nod continues to do so

Taarabt has become far too good for us as some of us always knew

So when a daft thread is put up like this I am only ever going to defend him

You won't see a better player in a hoops shirt ever and to blame the player as a lot do is plain to see exactly how ill our fan base is

You don't have anyone to pick on yet so why not do the rounds on Taarabt
He was a legend at QPR and thankfully some fans can see that

I hope he does very well

It is not a daft thread in my opinion.
The results tell us what the average QPR fan thinks of Taarabt and whether he should captain our club again

So when a daft thread

Love it when DT calls something daft.

Generally means he doesn't agree with it, and therefore MUST be labelled "daft".

As if anything anyone else thinks, MUST be wrong, and clearly lacking any intellectual thought.

Or, anyone who disagrees with me, must be intellectually challenged !

Then again....
